Uh-oh... we have only HOURS left until our trip. We're hitting AK first thing tomorrow morning and I'm a little worried. We have to do the baby swap (for the first time) and DH has a bad back. So... not only do I have to ride Expedition Everest alone... but I have to do it FIRST! I have to make sure there are no jerks or sudden stops and that it's not too intense for DH. I'm getting nervous now! I'm sure I'll love it, but I'm scared of the unknown... even though I've seen the ride-thru videos. I get sick pretty easily (can ride RnR only once or forget it!). I'm curious to know what happens in the dark while going backwards and if it's going to make feel dizzy or ill... any insight? THANKS!

I did the same thing just yesterday ~ had to check out the ride to see if DH could ride it. Which is was a definate YES (and he liked it) Yes there is a single rider line (not sure if it is open all the time and of course I didn't take advantage of it ~ didn't realize till after my fourth and final time!!) Good luck ~ it was closed on Friday and we extended our stay by 1 day to catch it and luckly it was open both yesterday and today but closed at 2PM.

I hope it's open tomorrow. Thanks for the info!

On Saturday night, there was a message left on our voicemail here at the Wilderness Lodge that EE would be open on Sunday (2/12) only until 2PM and that it would then close for some last minute modifications. I asked a CM on the ride about the closing and she said they would definitely be closed Monday and Tuesday (2/13-2/14) with a possibility of them opening up again on 2/15. However, she wasn't sure when they would be opening up again.
