Expedition Everest on BBC1 prog next Thursday

The report was OK the reporter pretended to be scaling a mountain c/w all the climbing gear and looked totally stupid in what was a 32 degree heat!
However, they had a real climber with them who said the Katmandu village looked very authentic, then they walked through what looked like a museum to the ride which looked brill. Never been on one that goes backwards before so I'll have to pluck up courage when we go, my boys said 'cool'. DH loved Big Thunder Mountain at DLRP and said he'd loved the look of this. Silly presenter then sat by a pool with people in their cossies and him in his climbing gear ending the report.

Ride good report silly and too little on the attraction and too much silly joke

I agree about the silly report, can't imagine what a real mountaineer like alan hinkes made of it all - he comes from near us and he's a proper down to earth yorkshireman.

Good footage of the ride though.

I've Sky+ it ~ Looking forward to watching it tomorrow :thumbsup2

Hinkes was on the report! Wow what a legend and like arieliwish says a great bloke. He was probably in the spirit of it, probably light relief for him after all his exploits over the last few years.
