We are going to the World in mid-March during our spring break. Just could not get there for this past weekend's AP Preview extravaganza. Does anyone know if the ride will continue operating at some level during the week of March 12-18. I read that the grand-opening won't be till April. Hope we will get to try it.

Barring some kind of problem, there should be "soft openings" through the month of March. It's case of being in the right place at the right time!

were also hoping to ride ee, we'll be there march 16-25 for our disney wedding.

Can anyone tell me how Disney usually handles "soft openings?" Does that mean that on certain days the ride will be open all day, or will it be open for only a short time on certain days or will it only be open to certain groups such as those with APs? We are going in March too and I would so love to ride this coaster!

Ideally at a soft opening, the ride runs full blast all day. The purpose of these soft openings is to make sure that they are able to run the ride correctly when opening day arrives. However, the ride could shut down at anytime, but it's likely to be open everyday during AK's normal operating hours.
