Carol that sounds like a good plan of the 'rolling' meet. We won't meet up at the AK since we are driving from our resort and I'd be freaking out parking at the AKL and then rushing out to drive to the park. But that is MY pre-race freakout time

I can't remember if I wrote about my ToT drive lat Oct but it amounted to me in the middle of that huge traffic jam for an hour (mind you it was a 10 min drive usually) sitting in the back sit in the fetal position and i do believe Susan said I was whimpering.
So for my sanity sake I will meet up at the park but will try to be there about the time you all arrive on the bus

I of course will be wearing my WISH shirt, looking stylish in my black running skirt (hey with that and compression shorts no one will see a thing while doing the obstacles!). So I'm sure we will find each other.
I really like the Everest group ride idea. I didn't do the ToT since I HATE that ride LOL But I really love EE so if we set the time now I'll keep an eye on my watch that night
I know for the package pick up we are going to be there around when it opens on Friday (10-ish) and we haven't picked the time for the seminar yet but will most likely do the 12 noon on Friday. I would recommend attending it.
I figure the seminar will take us from arriving, each transition in the race and thru the finish. I've now completed 2 WDW 1/2's, 2 DL 1/2's and 1 WDW Full. Susan and I made this DL 1/2's trip all about the expo and seminars and made sure we caught the course review seminar and we both thought it was worth it. Even though I already done the course it was nice hearing them walk us thru it. Telling us what we could expect thru the race. From how the sweepers would work to what mile they had set up a mist tent.
In the course review they should explain in a bit more detail about how we will transition from the 5K to the obstacle course and maybe tell us exactly what the obstacle course will be.
Now don't hold it against me if I'm wrong and the guy lied to me but what he told me at the Expo was it is hurdles we climb over, we climb a net of some sort, balance on a beam and crawl under a net. How high any of these are I have no clue since it was a tad bit loud in the Expo and I didn't have a pen and paper handy. I'm going with a memory that was running down thanks to traveling 1/2 the day. He did say there would be grass under the obstacles. I am hoping in the course review they will clarify what the obstacles are, how they are set up, how high and all that good stuff.
Then I'd like a bit more info on the scavenger hunt. I've never done one and reading that they will 'check my answers' at the finish line scars me

so if i write the wrong answer do they send me back out to figure it out or am i screwed? I'm relying on my DH teammate to figure out these clues.
I don't want to scare anyone with the obstacle news I listed but if he was right this could be very very interesting.

ok really the obstacles are only slightly scaring me right now because it's still over 2 weeks away and I figure like Jeanne, I've completed the Marathon I will do what it takes to finish this too even if I have to take a running start and hurdle myself at the hurdle to go over it
I'm hoping he lied and it's a kiddie ball pit like Dave suggested.
MOMtoGKC

over the balancing after the F&W We're hitting Hollywood Studios that day, perhaps that will work in our favor
Tracy!!!! 1st I'm so glad to have gotten to meet up at DL with you and 2nd I am hoping to wear my camera. I can't guarantee the photos will be good but there will be dark, blurry photos that I can promise
We arrive Thurs and are at the Coranado and will be there week. If I survive this you can be sure I will wear my for the rest of the vacation
