Has anyone used Expedia for your resort reservations ? They are quite
a bit cheaper even with my code but I need to make a decision soon &
I have never used them before.

I've never booked a Disney trip through Expedia, but I've used them for other trips elsewhere and haven't had any issues with them. If it's cheaper, then book it! The only disadvantage is that you can't get the dining plan, but you're getting the same room. We used Coke reward points to stay at POR last December and got the room for $82 a night. Disney's best rate at that time was about $180 for POR and even the values were about $95 then.

We used Expedia last June and we stayed at the Swan/Dolphin. When we arrived, they had our reservation, but had us checking out two nights earlier than we made our reservation for. I had all of our reservation receipt print outs, so luckily we had that. The did not want to take any responsibility or even apologize. They blamed it on expedia and told us that is why they recommend going through the hotel directly. I am not sure on who's end the problem was but we were a little diappointed in how they treated us.

I have used expedia before with no problems (and saved $$$!!) if your booking a Disney resort the reference number you get will not allow you to book dining online etc so you just need to phone/email Disney to get the Disney reservation number.
