OK, that's *only* $62, but it includes Character Meal vouchers for each member of your party noted on the reservation. That's at least another $100, even if you choose a breakfast. = Saved $162+, the kids get to try out another character meal venue, and I may get another $11 or so since I went through ebates. If only I could find a coupon code for expedia....

I just checked my 4 nights, also booked with AP discount, Sep 16 - 20 and Expedia was also cheaper, also including the character meal. Great Find! My trip might have to be cancelled, but if not, I will cancel through Disney and book through Expedia. It's a great deal.

The character meal is part of the fall promotion...it's 4 nights for 3 and get a character meal.

Now if you had booked with Costco you would have received 2 character meals per person, plus 20 gift card, and priority seatings for DCA attractions.

I just checked my 4 nights, also booked with AP discount, Sep 16 - 20 and Expedia was also cheaper, also including the character meal. Great Find! My trip might have to be cancelled, but if not, I will cancel through Disney and book through Expedia. It's a great deal.

Glad your dates worked! You can book now through Expedia if you don't mind tying up those funds on your credit card while you finalize your plans -- you can cancel w/out penalty as late as 5 days before scheduled check in.

The problem is my AP -- both times I called DL re this booking I was told that the character meal promo only works with ticket purchase. The agent I spoke w/ today was surprised that Expedia was offering the character meal in the hotel only booking.
I thought Costco was the same (packages include parkhoppers)? I'll call them tomorrow & check -- always on the lookout for the best deal!

Just what I found, the free character breakfast when you book through Disney is only if you buy a package with tickets. Since we have our AP's we don't need tickets either. They wouldn't match for me, and the agent assured me that we would receive the same guest treatment by booking with Expedia as through DL. I specifically asked about Magic Morning, and she gave me the usual "subject to availability" spiel but added "It's not like you're booking 4th of July or anything--I'm sure they'll give you Magic Mornings!"

Glad to hear this. We got a great deal at PPH through Expedia with character meal, and I was concerned we would get dirty looks. It was soooo much cheaper even than with AP discount!
