Exotic Rasul....

Where are the pictures of the room? Does anyone have pictures of the shower? I am just looking for G rated pictures.:thumbsup2

So we should tip? Have not done this before but have it scheduled for our Dec. cruise :)

Just booked! Can't wait!

I do have a "serious " question though....

I am really looking forward to the oils and mud treatment, but my husband has pretty sensitive skin. He has issue with strongly scented creams and the like. He wears aftershave,( mostly Calvin Klein) it just seems to be highly scented creamy products that bother him.

I would hate for him to have an allergic reaction ,or irritated skin, especially with the added heat from the steam...( I hear it can get pretty warm in there!). That would really ruin the fun!

What's your experience ? Any one with sensitive skin try the treatment? With added steam?

Thanks!

My DH has excema and I was also worried about how the products would affect him. I'm happy to report that they actually soothed his dry, sensitive skin, leaving it as soft and healthy. Enjoy your rasual! :goodvibes

As I recall, all the lotions, etc. are kept in the bottles/tubes. Only the mud is in three bowls with no lids, and I think as long as you don't use the mud (which, if I remember correctly, had a scent to it that probably would be stronger in the steam), your DH should be fine. The steam room is a different room, and as long as you don't put the stuff in there, it shouldn't be too bad.

The creams in the tubes/bottles are all in a basket in the middle room, and you can sample them to see if they are mild enough for DH. To be sure, if you want you could bring in something of your own, stick it in the pocket of your bathrobe, and that way you'll have a back up if the stuff there is too strong.

My DH and I tried it in Feb. and absolutely loved it! We are sailing this coming Feb. and I asked him if he wanted a massage instead and he said "NO, lets do the Exotic Rasul again!" so I book it once again. It really is what you make of it. We have been married 14 years and are totally into having fun as a couple. What could be more fun than slimming each other with mud then having a water fight while trying to clean it off! We can't wait!

Very cool! Thanks for all of the answers. I'd wondered about the sensitive skin thing, too. My skin's not TOO sensitive, but I have the Exotic Rasul scheduled the afternoon of our formal night. I'd hate to go to all of the trouble of picking out nice outfits, then show up with red blotchy skin to go with it! :)

I'm planning to book this for our May '08 cruise. I'm not telling my DH anything about it!! I'm sure he'll be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks Everyone, for your replies!

It's a surprise for DH's 40th ( and we've been married 14 years too!).

He is soooo not into massage/ treatments, but this one sounds like a lot of fun, especially that we can do it together. I know that if he had to dress for dinner with a huge rash, I would never hear the end of it!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
