There are a couple of threads that talk about having an existing reservation and a waitlist and how that all works, but they are from 2008 and 2009 - I'd like to see some comments based on more 'recent' experience, please.
I have a 2 bedroom Boardwalk View reservation for October already in place (it's one of 4 separate October reservations.) I also have a waitlist for a 2 bedroom Boardwalk View Handicap-Accessible room, with instructions to cancel the original one should the waitlist become available and 'swap' the original reservation for the waitlisted one.
Do I need to be concerned, particularly in the midst of Food & Wine, that I will somehow lose *both* reservations -- i.e., will they cancel the one and then attempt to make the other thus opening myself up to someone claiming the original room by matter of timing, or does MS have the ability to just 'swap' the two and then they'd release the original room to the system?
