Excuse me, you'll need to see security. What has Mickeystoontown done? Update 3/25x2

Lisa! :sad2:

First, an iron on board

Now, concealing bread? (Isn't there an Oscar nominated musical with a bread thief as the main character?)

You are quite the rebel!

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

That was awesome!

BTW- carrying Ziploc bags of various sizes is one of my Top Ten Disney tips that I share with newbies. Protect your cellphone and camera on wet rides. Put the tv remote inside to keep icky germs from your family's fingers. Ziploc- not just for stealing, anymore!

Great parade pictures.

Hey- Pete's dragon is smoking, too!!!

All sorts of bad influences!

What can I say? I'm bad to the bone! :rotfl2: Who'd have ever thunk it by looking at my innocent mug? :lmao:

I am a ziploc bag believer! I have them in all shapes and sizes when we travel. I hadn't thought about putting the remote in one though. I usually just wipe it down. Good tip and I'm going to use it!

:rotfl: Ok, now I am dieing to know if the bread ever made it back to your Mama!! I am guessing if it were in my backpack, it would have ended up smashed to smithereens!

Actually, the bread did really well in the backsack and, when we got back to the room, we were able to put it in our snack bag (we take a tote with snacks). It laid right on top so it traveled well. ;)

:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:

I never knew, Lisa. I wouldn't have thought you'd have it in you. But there you go. You are just a low-down, dirty thief when it comes right down to it.

:lmao::lmao:

Great update! It would have been really funny if one of the characters busted you putting the bread in your sack.

I've only seen that parade once (I know!) but I just can't bring myself to fight the crowds for it. Plus, since I didn't even go to WDW when it was originally running, I don't have the nostalgia for it, I guess.

So sorry to see the trip coming to an end. BUT! You have a trip in a couple of months, so I'll be sitting and waiting your report on that one!

I told you that I tell the good, the bad and the ugly. Ya'll didn't realize what all truths and ugliness would be revealed about my family. You see, we come from a long line of iron toting, bread steeling thieves. :sad2: Rotten right to the core! :rotfl:

I like the Main Street Electrical Parade but I am ready for Spectro to come back. I liked the music of Spectro a lot more.

Finally caught up again! I finally closed on my house last week so I have been getting behind on everything! Cannot believe you are on the last night! Don't feel bad about stealing the bread, when my friends and I were on a cruise once, our friends that didn't go asked us to bring them back souvenirs, so we stole a bottle of mustard, a napkin, a fork, some empty cups and a few trash bags (we needed a bag to put the stuff in) and gave it to them when we got home......fortunately they thought it was as funny as we did.

Yay for the closing! I know that you were happy about that!

Oh my gosh! Your story reminds me of the time we all went to eat and John's little brother came home with the salt & pepper shakers in his pocket. Isn't it funny how stuff like that hits your funny bone and you can't stop thinking about it.

I just gotta tell you that the bread story is so stinking funny! :rotfl: I have to tell you a similar story. Years ago, when I was a kid, my family had gone on vacation and stopped at some restaurant for lunch. A plate of bread was delivered to our table, and my mother said, "Hey, ___(insert my dad's name here)___. Look at this bread!" Well, now, even 25 years later, it is a running joke with our family. My sister and I will still pick up a piece of bread and say, "Well, look at this bread!" Ah, memories! ;)

Enjoyed your pictures of MESP, though I must admit that I miss Spectro terribly!

I love love love stories like that! It's those sort of memories that make a trip or gathering.

I miss Spectro too and wish that they'd bring it back.

omg Lisa the bread story too funny, had a similar situation trying to smuggle out a banana for my 5 yr old that would eat nothing BUT bananas at the time, of course hubby jokingly made me feel like a total criminal...joking all day saying things like "you do know they have Disney jail dont you?" "Walt has little cages that he puts you in for stealing food, especially bananas" etc....he cracked me up all day laughing about it.. I mean if ya get the cage for a single banana....girl..theres no helping ya for three slices of bread!!!! LOL

Such a funny story! :rotfl: I bet ya'll still talk about it!

I LOVE the bread story! I too want to know how well it survived the trip home. What a riot and a fun meal and memory to boot. Absolutely love it.

I need to stash a ziploc in my park bag, I always have them in the room but not necessarily in my park bag.

The bread did surprisingly well the rest of the evening and even made a 14 hour drive back to Louisiana.

I try to keep at least one or too in my backsack or purse just in case I need to steal bread or something. ;)

I'm just glad Mama got her beloved bread!!! :cheer2:

She was extremely glad too!

Looks like EVERYBODY loves the bread story! I am just glad you didn't have to see "security" at WDW like you did on the cruise!

For You:

For John:

For Hunter:

I hope you have a truly BLESSED Sunday, full of lots of luck and fun!

Awww Thank You Judy! I did very little Dising over the weekend so I didn't see the cuties until today.

What a great ending to the trip! I love Crystal Palace and MSEP. At least you only have a few months left before you are there again!! Oh...and I never would have thought you as such a risk-taking criminal!!

Just over 60 days until we are back to the World!

The Duck party looked like fun.
CBR is so pretty.
Not to debate but being gay is not a choice. Moving on…
The pizza truck is so cute.
Sorry about your Aunt.
I hate allergies. Has not hit yet here as it is still cold but I am preparing.
Okay the walking tour has convinced this is the resort for the first part of our trip in December. GORGEOUS.
I love Crystal Palace but Vinny not so much since the little girl incident.
I have no issues with you taking bread home but wouldn’t it be hard?
I would have been hysterical just like all of you.
LOL about Flavor Flav.
All caught up again. Looking forward to more.

Wow you had a lot of reading to do to get caught up! ;)

The bread did very well in the bad. And, we went home the next day so it survived pretty well.

Flavorrrrrrr Flaaaaaaav! :cool1:

Hey Ya'll! I hope that everybody had a good weekend! Our weather was absolutely gorgeous....in the 70s with lots of sunshine. Unfortunately, the pollen is everywhere. Our back porch that used to be brown is now yellow. Doesn't make for good sinuses.

I believe today is the day that Photobucket's site changed. I did take a minute to take a peek at the site and didn't recognize a doggone thing so I'm guessing that the change-over is now official. UGH! Once I post this, I'm headed back to the site to see if I can figure things out so that I can get an update done. I'll be back in a bit....I hope!

Thanks for that, as it was 36 degrees and lightly snowing on my way in to the office this morning! :faint: Thankfully it didn't stick and only lasted about 30 minutes, but it's still cold here and going to rain shortly. I can't wait for spring weather! Actually, I can't wait to be in FL where I know it won't be too cold! :thumbsup2

Good luck with the new Photobucket. I hate it, but after a bit I got the hang of it at least.

If it makes you feel any better, it's overcast here today. ;) We were talking this weekend and said that we bet that we're going to have ready breaking temps this Summer. Today's high is supposed tobe 76 and it's only March 18th. I can only imagine what Summer will be like. :crazy2:

Blasphemy! Shut your mouth!!! LOL! I am dying from this heat and add the pollen in...ICK!!!! And to think I was freezing at Disney last week!

Oooh! Aaah! Oh! Oh, for real, I need a tissue!

Once the parade was over, a lot of people started to leave the park which kind of surprised me because I figured they’d want to stay and watch the fireworks. Soon, the castle show started and it was awesome! I tried taking pictures but no amount of pictures would truly capture how neat the show is:

I can’t imagine all of the work that went into programing a show such as the castle show. It was simply amazing to us. Not long after the show, Wishes! started! Again, my pictures do not capture how very pretty the fireworks are. (Especially my pictures)

Oooh!

I found myself with tears in my eyes and a running nose after Wishes! Oh! For real, I need a tissue! My nose is bleeding! Now I don’t know about ya’ll but I always get teary eyed over Wishes but it’s never caused a nosebleed. John handed over his handkerchief so I could try and stop the nosebleed. After leaning my head back for a little while and pinching my nose, the bleeding stopped. While we waited, Jesse was talking about how in awe he was that Disney had fireworks every day and how great they were. It made me smile to know how much he enjoyed them.

**Up next: You two are total woosies!

First you are a rebel, and now you are getting nosebleeds over Wishes. Seriously, Lisa, we need to do something with you. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I love the new castle show...I think they did a great job with it, and it amazes me how they do it. And I cry during Wishes every single time I see it....even if I see it 3 or 4 times on a trip.

I'm so glad that Jesse enjoyed it so much.

I love the new castle show too, it's so beautiful and intricate! I agree that it must have been a lot to make that happen so perfectly. And your pictures of it and Wishes are great. :goodvibes

Nosebleeds are no fun. Weird that you got one after Wishes. I get teary-eyed at Wishes, Fantasmic and Illuminations. And when I see Cinderella's Castle the first time each trip too!

Steve was the same way when I told him about Wishes being every night! Steve didn't get to see Wishes but I'm hoping this next trip he can. :goodvibes

That nose bleed was from security running after you and tackling you to get that stolen bread! :lmao:

But that sucks though. Glad it wasn't too bad.

I see ya'll have a ticker that has dates very close to our's. Yay for going back!

Yes, we officially have dates for going back! :cool1: And I actually just updated my ticker since we had to change our dates. That puts our dates even closer to yours, just one day off I think!

I loved the bread story! And it inspired me - I'm going to start carrying around Ziploc bags, too. You never know what you'll need them for, I suppose!

The end of the last day is always a tear jerker, isn't it?

Jen, you are one smart cookie to figure out how I really got the nosebleed. :lmao:

Seriously, I get nosebleeds from time to time and so do John and Hunter. Hunter gets them more frequently than I do. As a matter of fact, one of the things that I write in the school "does your child have any medical issues that we need to know about" section is: Don't freak out if his nose starts to bleed a lot. He knows what to do.

Paige has had that same issue too. She seems to be better now as an adult. A lot less frequent now.

What can I say? I'm just a trouble maker through and through! :rotfl:

Kathy, I cry at Wishes every time too. It is just so beautiful!

I get nosebleeds every once in a while especially after I've eaten a lot of dairy products since I'm allergic to milk.

I know that Steve is going to have such a good time at Disney with you!
