Curious to hear from past cruisers about excursions you booked (DCL or non-DCL) on the Western intinerary that were not full to capacity; and/or those you took that aren't the "headliner" must do trips but you found were really enjoyable...
Thanks!:wave2:

We did the kayaking adventure. It's was alot of fun...but take Skin So Soft or some sort of bug spray!!!

In Grand Cayman, the shipwreck and reef snorkel tour. Loved It!! Not very crowded. We "hung back" when we were boarding their boats and ended up on the second boat that had about 1/2 of the people the other boat had.

Cozumel. It was really cool. You kayak through mangroves and end up in a lagoon. The guides "beached" all but one of the kayaks. They floated that last kayak out into the lagoon and served canned sodas, bottled water, cookies, pastries, and fruit.

Let me know if you have any questions...I may be able to find a couple of our pixs or some of our literature from the excursion.

Ginny, That sounds great on Cozumel. My DDs are booked to swim with Dolphins at 3:30pm, and I was wondering what time the kayaking is booked for? I was thinking I could sneak off and do that, then hook up with DH and the kids later, as they may not be up for boating. Did you book this on your own or through DCL?

J Rabbit; the reef and shipwreck tour is the one that caught my eye because it doesn't involve stingrays-my DDs and DH want nothing to do with them! I was hoping to hear it wasn't too crowded, as I don't want to book it ahead. This is our first time cruising, and I don't want to overdo it on the excursions, however if we board and a day into the cruise decide we'd like to go for it, I hope we won't be shut out. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks so much for the help.:wave2:
