Chili's or Sonic.
I may be eating lunch at Sonic today.

What restaurant would you like to try?
Any restaurant that I haven't eaten at yet here in town. There are a couple of them. Dodies, Blue Canyon, Catch 22, Logans.....

Okay, now I'm severelly craving a Sonic Slushie, but we don't have Sonics up here, so sure rub it in! I'd like to try that I haven't been to would be Ruby's Diner or go back and have an IN-N-OUT burger even though I can't eat meat, would be worth the allergic hit to have one again YYYUUUMMM!!! Have a great day everyone!

Trish

Sonic is wonderful. Glad we finally got one (and another on the way) in Michigan. These were everywhere in Oklahoma, but Michigan is finally catching on. But they are different here than there. Hmmmmmm

I am not sure what restaurant I would like to try, but I guess I am open to suggestions. :)

I would like an Olive Garden. I am not a big fan of pastas, but they always have O.G. commercials on t.v., and it makes me want to try new dishes. I did go to one in Vegas, and the tiramisu was yummy.

Hobbies? :scratchin

I like to color, bake (but don't do much anymore) and collect all things Disney.

I have 2 big hobbies: I crochet & I cross-stitch. I also needlepoint a little, I love to bake but don't seem to have the time anymore.

How are they different? Have they changed the menu to accomodate the different tastes in food? Hopefully the ice has remained the same.

My only current hobby right now is reading, unless you would consider DISing one. :rotfl: Other hobbies I used to have are crocheting, cross stitching, sewing, ceramics and other assorted crafts. You can add gardening to that list too but I hope to add that back to my "current" list.

My current hobbies are scrapbooking, photography, and any kind of crafts that tickle my imagination. Our local Michaels store was clearing out all their t shirt paint, so I stocked up, and am planning on doing up a pile of Mickey Mouse head t shirts for our trip to WDW sometime in 2011. Something to keep me out of mischeif over the winter months. Have a great day everyone!

First of all, the Sonics in OK rarely had carhops on roller skates while the one in Flint actually makes these poor people stumble across the lane in them. (Can be entertaining but also a bit scary to watch at times.) Second, and much more important is the flavor of the food. Unlike Braums (obviously not in Michigan) who makes their own ingredients for the most part, Sonic appears to rely on suppliers that vary greatly from region to region. I think they have different oil for the fryers as the tator tots taste kind of icky and they seriously skimp on chili sauce on the coneys. :)

My daughter is happy enough though as the watermelon slush is still as good as she gets there.

My hobbies are reading, puzzles (jigsaw to sudoku), video games with the munchkin, art, cooking, etc. as time allows. I am thinking of getting back into ballet as well, but am finding it difficult to fit in my schedule.
