So far, I got a handmade Valentine card from my niece Maggie! She is quite an artist, it's so pretty.

Cards, cards, cards. I had cleaned out my card box yesterday, and I tossed out more than 100 store bought cards. They were cards from years back that I did not use, I forgot about, the envelopes had gotten stuck onto the cards and there was that sticky film left onto the cards.... so, todays QOTD is-

*How often do you buy store bought cards, and do you always use them or do you have stash just like I did that doesn't get used up?

I have a stash......keep them in a drawer. Just rebuy when I am low on some occasion.
I usually shop from Current or I love Costco's home made collection.
I don't send out very many though, so they last me a long time.

For a while I was the queen of buying cards and just having a super big stash. I'm sure if I went to my storage unit I'd find a pretty decent sized stash of cards if I looked long enough. I don't typically buy a lot now. Or if I do I make sure that I send them out to whomever they are suppose to go to.

I only buy a couple cards to keep here for when Carol is invited to a birthday party and might need one.

I used to mail cards for all the birthdays and anniversaries in the family. This year I decided to go "green" and am e-mailing cards to those in the family that I have e-mail addresses to. The little kids though, they still get a card in the mail.

As per the previous QOTD, hubby got me a cool t shirt. I do keep some cards aside if I know that some birthdays are coming up. Got back from the mouse last night, and had a great trip. The side trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium was definitely worth the detour. Have a great day everyone!!

If I buy cards they are for specific uses and persons.

I don't mean to have a stash, but sometimes cards just make me laugh and I have to buy them because I know I'll want to give it to someone!
