I occassionally watch the new. If I read the paper it is online. I get most of my news via the internet.

this is how small our town is.. the local paper is weekly! And even then, it's not that great. So, I have MSNBC as my homepage, and I get my news online. Between that, the local site and my hometown paper online I get what I want. I never watch it on tv.

We only have a local weekly paper too ;)
I stopped my subscription.
I watch the news about 15 minutes a day, that's all I can take.

I read the paper every day. I watch the news most nights. Part of being in a major metro area (I live in a suburb of NYC, and I work in NYC). Even if I didn't read/watch, I'd hear it anyway.

We live in a small town. I subscribe to the local weekly paper. My mom subscribes to the Dallas paper and gives me the Metro section that has suburb information in it. I in turn give her our weekly paper. There are one or two other local papers that we get for free! We pick up the Dallas paper on Sundays for the ads and coupons.

I watch the news while I'm walking in the morning. Otherwise, I usually don't see it unless I catch it while cooking dinner, am not quite ready for bed or there's nothing else I'd rather watch at 9:00 pm.

Our town has a weekly paper and our area has a daily paper. I read the weekly and get the rest of my news online. I like to browse Orlando Sentinel now and again. Last year I received a paper from a friend in Minnesota which was very interesting to read and this has prompted me to host the Newspaper Exchange.

I watch the news at least twice a day. I wake up at 5am. While I'm preparing breakfast for my family, I have the news on. I also watch the 10pm news.
I have 3 different papers delivered each day. I don't always get to read all 3, but I try.

If you were to make a special Valentines dessert for yourself, your SO, family....what would you make?

brownies....that is always what I like.
Or if there are a group of us, I love the chocolate cake at Costco  The one with the dark chocolate shavings all over it.
But, I probably won't be making anything special this year.

Some type of cake for the family. If its for me a bowl of ice cream and I'm happy.

I would slow cook some chocolate pudding and top it off with our favorite organic whipped cream!

Cheesecake. My favorite!

I will probably be having something special this Valentine's Day--I'll be with some of my family celebrating my nephew's 5th birthday! I can't wait.

Sorry to hijack and be :offtopic: -- anyone here an American Idol fan? (I know Nancy is. :lmao: )
I was a screaming fan at DHS to help kick off the AIE attraction. I snapped lots of photos, including Ryan S and Paula A.
At least some should turn out and I will post some.
It was great fun! :yay: :woohoo:
Who knows -- maybe a glimpse of me will be on Entertainment Tonight tomorrow (Friday).
Anyway -- worth watching tomorrow just to see the AIE segment! :cheer2:

:rotfl: Thanks, Barbara :p I am not a fan at all.....but did enjoy the show at DHS.
I don't even know who Ryan S is  I do know Paula, but not from that :rotfl:
I will definitely check out ET tomorrow.

As for romance......I would love, love to get more DVC :rotfl:
Other than that, the way to my heart is indeed through my stomach and I would love chocolate and/or brownies.
