What type of pasteries/doughnuts do you like?

I like Danish pastires, donuts - all kinds, chocolate eclairs, custard slices etc etc!

What is your most favorite song growing up as a teenager?

I don't have a favourite but different songs remind me of different times in my life.

Do you like to go to museums, and art galleries?

Not so much art galleries. This year my family and I plan to visit lots of castles and country houses.

I love going to museums with DD.
I am lucky to live in NY where there are so many museums to choose from!

How much time during a day do you have time JUST for yourself?

None. lol I work all day then I work all night. I don't even get bathroom time alone. :rotfl:

I have an exchange etiquette question for everyone. This is my first exchange here so I'm not sure of protocol. Is it customary to thank the person who sends you an exchange on the exchange thread, in a thank you note or via PM? Or a combo of any of those? I would like to thank my gifter, and I want to make sure I don't make a major faux pas! Thanks!!!

glitterkitty, welcome to the exchanges!

You can do all of the them if you want. Most people though post on the sent/received thread their thanks and also the items they received. Don't forget to do that. We all like to see what everyone got.

Now that the kids are grown I have quite a bit of time for me. Working here at home gives me plenty of opportunity.

I saw what you got--what a great bag!

How much time during a day do you have time JUST for yourself?

A good amount. It's just me & dad at home, so I get a lot of me time at home. We always eat dinner together, and we sit and talk a lot but we do give each other space all the time. After a childhood filled with people (I'm the 2nd oldest of 6), it's nice. And he used to go to Florida for 2-3 months, so I used to have tons of alone time!

I'm home most days all by myself but I am looking to get back to work and have just applied for my first full time job in 13 years. I'm excited but nervous that the house will fall apart.

We actually used to do craft shows and street fairs all the time.
We sold DH's woodwork.........puzzles, earrings, bread boards. And my needlecraft and sewing projects. Even the kids would make thing.
It was a lot of work hauling everything around amd setting it all up and then taking it all down again.

I think that I would like to sell some sort of food item but I would much prefer to be the shopper, not the seller!;)

We love cereal in our house especially the less sweet kind. Not sure how many you will know but our favourites are Weetabix, Readybrek, Branflakes, Shreddies, Rice Krispies but we do like some Cinnamon Grahams and the like now and again.

Also I LOVE soya milk on my Weetabix, it's amazing!

I enjoy (or used to) a lot of the sweetned ones, but gave them up.
Now we only eat Bran Flakes, Bran Buds, oatmeal or granola.

I currently like to eat Frosted Mini Wheats and Honey Nut Cheerios. I prefer cereals that aren't very sweet but you don't have to add sugar to either.

I used to not be able to eat cereal in the morning. The taste of milk in the morning would make me feel bad. But since my surgery last August, cereal in the morning doesn't bother me. I haven't tried drinking it then yet though. Drinking milk other times of the day doesn't bother me at all.

If you were to have a booth at a carnival or craft show, what would you sell or offer?

Baked goods, chocolate covered pretzels, etc., chocolate pops.

What is your favorite cereals?

I used to love all the sugar-bomb cereals and they're still in the house because my kids eat them but I"ve switched over to granola types and my fav is Cracklin Oat Bran.

love anything chocolate--especially the Cadbury eggs!
Least fav? the marshmallow peeps
