What is one daily chore or thing that you have to do that you wish you never had to do again?

Just one?!? Hmmmmm, I guess it would have to be doing the laundry purely as it takes up so much time from start to finish. Actually, I never seem to finish because the basket seems to be self filling!

What are your favorite weekend/day off activities to do by yourself, and with your family?

What happened?

Just a rough thread. It was my fault, I guess... I asked for opinions on how we were handeling my daughters' Kindergarten and I got lit up. I should have checked out a couple of other threads and noticed that there seem to be a fair number of people who only enjoy making other people feel bad. Oh well, lesson learned.

I knew I loved the sub-threads for a reason.

What are your favorite weekend/day off activities to do by yourself, and with your family?

I love to watch sports for a couple hours on Sunday. Weather it's Nascar or Football, there is nothing better than taking a couple hours for myself to just unwind.


Now Saturday is ALWAYS family day. I enjoy taking my family to a movie and then a nice lunch. Someplace fancy like the McDonalds with the INDOOR PLAYSCAPE!!!!
I know, sometimes you just have to cut loose....

Yea, some people are just RUDE! That is why I hang here most of the time if I am not drooling on the Restaurant reviews....

Ever since they did away with the debate board it seems that the CB has gotten tougher. Plus there are those that love to be able to say that they have been banned, come back under another name and do what they can to get banned again. I believe that they are keeping score.

I have way too many drawings. When ever one of the kids make a picture they feel the need to hang it up. We are at the point you can only see the handle on the fridge,knobs on the doors and cabinets. I swear every time I say ok lets take some down to put up new ones they have a reason for keeping the old up also. I will def. not win any neat or clutter free awards.

How many people do you have on your Christmas list to give gifts to? I had made my list, but it is growing almost each day.

With almost 20 immediate family members, we decided to take a simpler approach for the last 2 years. Each person draws another family member's name and only buys for that person. We allow a $35 maximum limit. You also can buy 1 gift for your spouse or S/O. We also buy 1 gift for each child under 5 with a $20 maximum.

On my husband's side of the family, usually everyone buys 1 gift for each child (14 kids) and they might do a gift exchange between the adults.

On my side of the family, we just buy gifts for my parents.

This yr. we have 43. We try to set a price limit but that doesn't seem to always work. There are times I will get a really good priced item on sale and then on others I seem to have to pay full price. In the end I always seem to spend more then I wanted.
