What sort of activities do you like to do over the weekend by yourself, or with your family?
Right now- nothing-
I would love a whole day to do nothing, go nowhere, peace and quiet time

Well, California is sooooo huge it would be quite impossible to take them everywhere I would want to take them, but here is my top 5 places to take them....in So. Cal only to save gas...![]()
1. DISNEYLAND!!! -- of course!![]()
2. Hollywood Walk of Fame and El Capitan Theatre
3. Downtown L.A. for Olvera St. and Chinatown
4. Long Beach --this is where I live and I would show them the famous Queen Mary.
5. San Diego -- can you say "Top Gun"?
As far as food, I would have them try any ethnic food I could find. This is because we have so many different kinds here. For dessert I would take them for Funnel Cake at Long Beach Shoreline Village or Ice Cream Sundaes at Disney Soda Fountain in Hollywood.![]()
If you were having visitors over that were coming to your state for the first time, where would you take them, and what types of foods would you have them try?
That sounds like a plan! Glad your back!Hey Guys! Sorry I've been AWOL for a while. THings got a little crazy at home and my dis time was cut
But now I am back
Well, since Texas is the best state in the country (In My Honnest Oppinion) I would want to hit the highlights...
First we would start off in Fort Worth for a trip to the stockyards, some dancin at Billy Bob's (The Worlds Biggest Honky Tonk.) Boot Scootin' works up a hefty appetite, so we would have to grab a steak and a GIANT Iced Tea.
Next we would jump on I-35 and head to Austin to visit the live Music Capital of the World. We would check out the University and the Capital and take in a show on Sixth Street. Dinner would be BBQ at Stubbs and then we would head back to Sixth Street to enjoy some Flaming Dr. Peppers and Shiner Beer.
After that, (Well, not right after) we would jump back on 35 and visit New Braunfells for a day of Tubing at Schltterbahn, the worlds best water park for 9 years running.
From there it's a short trip to San Antonio to visit the Alamo and the BEST Mexican Food EVER at Mi Tierra's. Of course we would grab a box or 2 full of baked goodies on our way out of town.
From San Antonio, we would head South again to hit South Padre Island. Let's face it, after that we would need some chill time of the beach![]()

What was the last lie you told?
I told my DW that I was going to take a nap on Sunday, and instead I watched NASCAR...

When you go to a restaurant, what one or two things do you always seem to look for to see if they have THAT ITEM? Ex. BLT sandwich, biscuits, and gravy....?
Or, are you open to trying different foods?
Well, since I am a total health food nut, I am always watching for Chicken Fried Steak (with Cream Gravy of course,) and Hot Wings/Buffalo Chicken Tenders...
