The Boxer by Simon & Garfunkel...I think- Why is it sooooo difficult to pick just one song lol?!? I never get tired of listening to so many different songs :thumbsup2

I just looked at my previous post number and it was the 1000th post for this thread!

If you were to have one restaurant that is not in your area come to your town, which would it be, and why?

A good seafood restaurant. We have one but the prices are out of my reach. You would think that a community on the banks of a lake would have lots of seafood restaurants to choose from.

I'll take anything! We only have a few local diners near by. There is a plaza coming, tho....I don't know what restaurants I'd really like, but I'd take a Panara Bread!

On a side note--NEVER use FLTours! We used to use them all the time, but they never came to pick us up this time (9 pm!) and their phone#s (both 800 and 407) were transferred to a cell phone being answered "Taxi". The man who answered said he'd try to find our driver, did we prepay?..(thankfully, no!) definitely understood what was going on. Said he'd call back. Of course, he never did. When we called back--same man now didn't know anything about FLTours! nice.

Luckily, since all the people had thinned out, we found a taxi van at 10:30pm--ended up being cheaper, too! Great driver who came back for us at the end of our trip. All worked out, but very frustrating to start your vacation that way.

Well, Gardunos of Mexico for sure but I doubt they would survive here lol...it is a Mexican/New Mexican restaurant originated in Albuquerque NM. I would also want a Dion's Pizza (another New Mexico joint lol)

Yikes Lynne! I am glad it worked out for ya'll in the end but oh how frustrating!

Sorry to hear that you had a horrible situation with that company.

As you get older who will take care of you? Will your kids take care of you, will you go into a care home....?

Hopefully my kids will be able to. I currently help with my parents when they need me. I'm trying to let my mother be as independent as she can be but it's only a matter of time before I'm driving her everywhere. My dad is blind so he only leaves the house when he needs to go to the doctor.

Yes and we loved playing on it. It had two swings, a teeter totter and a slide. We wished it had of had a glider. Of course we hung off of it like monkeys too.

No...shoot, my parents did not even landscape the backyard until i was 9 years old lol, but once that grass was in the entire yard became my gymnastics floor routine mat! :dance3:

We had a swing set, and my sister, cousin, and I had fun playing on it. We have one for our kids, and they like to play on it together, and also with their friends.

What is your most favorite cheap dish to make? It could be a casserole dish, or something like a sandwich, ramen, or such....

Homemade pizza. Well, I do cheat & buy the pizza dough, but it is my homemade sauce & lots of cheese. It's also the thing my nieces & I like to make together. We each have a job--I take care of the dough, stretching it out to fit on the pan, one niece adds the sauce, the other does the cheese. We do have to watch her--she'd eat all the cheese!
