No, I had not heard of them before, probably because my youngest just turned 17! No Webkinz for him! They are cute though. I had some time this morning to look them up online since I am home sick from school.

Hope you feel better now  .

My daughter had just started with her cat which she named Marshmallow and I am trying to figure out which one to get for myself, and another one for her. My SS even wants one...he doesn't want the doll since he is 13 years old, but he wants to play with all the neat games, put a room together....

helloooo??? Anybody home?

I'm sitting here stressing too much to sleep. Too many things going on. I even completely forgot DSs orthodontist appt this afternoon!

I need a trip to WDW!

 Hi Lynne,
Sorry to hear that you had a stressful day. Are you able to reschedule your son's appt? I need a trip as well :rotfl: .

Hi Patsy!

Thanks! The appt was easy to reschedule. I just was flustered that on top of everything else (or because of it!) I completely forgot!

I'm co-chairing the boys' elementary school fundraiser. It's getting to the stressful part, and my sister is still in the hospital.

Ok--I'm done whining! :upsidedow

On the plus side of things, DH's cousins were thinking of going to WDW this fall, and I kiddingly told her to go when we're there. She booked it! :yay: The boys are so excited, because they'll have their cousins to run around with.

Sounds like it will be a fun trip.

What type of fundraiser are they doing? My daughter is starting school in August, so I'm wondering what type of different fundraisers they will have.

Well, we're doing a Walk-a-thon, with a twist. ;)
An ex elementary school principal started this fundraising company with his wife when he retired. We have a walk-a-thon, and the students ask family and friends to sponsor them--but it's a letter they help write in school that's sent out. Pure profit, minus a small % to the company this year. In future years, it will be 100%.

A nearby school the same size as ours made over $40,000 with this last fall!!!

But before this, we sold the basic fundraising catalog with candy, wrapping paper and knic-knacs. :goodvibes Our sport clubs usually sell pizza kits.

Hi guys! Haven't had a chance to get online here much lately. Business has been keeping me busy with Spring Break rush, but that is finally slowing down now. Just in time for my DS to have his school vacation. :)

Not too much else going on. We have the Spring Party today for DS's class (I am class Mom) and we had DD's 2nd birthday party this past weekend - lots of fun!

Still looking forward to some warm weather around here. It was almost 80* a couple of days ago and this morning it was 38*! Where, oh where is the warm weather?

The warm weather is down here -- mid 80's every day for 2 weeks now, not a cloud in sight. :beach: :sunny:

We are having a nice sunny day. Not too sunny so it is a nice day to go outside and get some gardening done. :goodvibes

I am good Patsy, just hoping that we don't get the almost week of snow that they are calling for.

How are you and the family? Have any new pictures of the kids?

You are all so sweet--thank you.

Trying to get some normalcy (is that even a real word? :) ) back. The kids are great with this, since they've always got something going on. Some friends are making us dinner tonight.

Totally different topic:

I'm going to make my yearly attempt at this bunny cake I have a mold for. I've never gotten it to work before, and I'm a pretty good baker. It's an old metal mold--2 piece. The cake never comes out well, or if it does it breaks.

I read something about adding cream cheese to the mix, but don't remember what to take out!

Anyone have any ideas? I think I'll google...

I find that you need to have enough cake mix so that the entire mold is full. I spray mine (not a bunny) with pan first. I cut a piece of cardboard larger than the mold bottom, cover it with aluminum foil and then place it on top of the slightly cooled cake. Then I turn the entire mold over and it always comes out for me.

Good luck with your bunny cake.
