Halloween. My kids like to pick out their costumes, and go trick or treating, and I like to put together goodies.

During the summer months, there's a congregation of food trucks in the downtown park area. I haven't been yet, but I hear it's pretty decent.

When you travel-(plane ride, car ride, ...) what types of snacks do you like to bring along with you?

Depends on the distance. On a shorter car ride (a few hours), it's three or four Gatorades, a Monster or other form of caffeinated drink, beef jerky, and something sweet. On a road trip that's over a day, more of the same, plus something easy to eat on the go, like pretzels. For dinner, I'll stop at a fast food place for a quick bite. On planes, I'll get as much water as I can and maybe something gummy.

When I was younger and going to fairs I'd often go to the beer tents for the party, but never the alcohol.

There are a lot of food trucks in downtown. But there isn't a place where they all park. Once a year there's a food truck festival where they do that, but that's only once a year.

Today is National fries day. So tell us, what is your most favorite type of fries, and what type of condiments do you like to dip it in?

My favourite fry DISH I've ever had is called "Blarney Chips" at a local pub. It is waffle fries loaded with green onions and covered in cheese sauce, with salsa and sour cream to dip. OMG SO YUM.

But for fries, I like homemade French fries covered in vinegar. Mmmm.
