Do you have a lucky number? If so what is it, and is there a reason why that particular number is your lucky number of choice?

Yes: 3 (and multiples of three) have been lucky for me and recur throughout my life.

I am the oldest of three children (my father was third of twelve); I have nine nieces and nephews and three great-nieces and -nephews; my birth name was six letters (first), three letters (middle), and nine letters (surname), and six letters in my married surname; addresses over the years have often included 39 . When I have to choose something, I do best when I rely on 3, 9 or 27. . . three is also core to my spirituality and my sense of the world. It is just "my" number!

I love all salads. It depends on the time of day. I love fruit salads for breakfast and green salads for lunch or dinner. Macaroni or potato as a side dish.

• Entree Salad: Classic chicken caesar salad without anchovies in salad or dressing
• Side Salad: Baby spinach with craisins, chevre cheese, pecans with balsamic vinaigrette
• Summer Salad: cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet onions (Walla Walla or Vidalia), all cut in chunks and tossed with ranch dressing. (Can toss in any dressing, really; a potluck staple when I lived in the Seattle area)
• Dessert Salad: assorted berries tossed with vanilla yogurt

Why am I suddenly hungry . . .

Restaurant: Cheesecake Factory. I LOvE their stuffed mushrooms.
Numbers: 27. My wedding date. Before that it was 21, which was my basketball jersey number.
Salads: typically veggie salads with some protein. Never potato, rarely pasta, and way too lazy to cut up a ton of you it often.
