Do you enjoy the theater? Have you ever gone to see a play or musical? Any favorites?

Been to two shows, off broadway to see cats and one in Lancaster to see a play that way part of the bus trip. I didn't care for either, so i would say no i don't enjoy theater.

I enjoy the theater, and have been fortunate enough to see quite a few plays and musicals. The two that stand out the most I saw performed in Chicago:

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (when Donny Osmond was Joseph) and Rent.

I know I won't be back in NY any time soon, but if Mary Poppins ever heads out West, I'd love to see that, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular!

Oh i LOVE the theater. I have seen quite a few shows too. I saw The Little Mermaid in NY. In my area, I have seen Mary Poppins, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and CATS. I heard Alladdin was in the making..... would love to see that!

Evita_W just saw Mary Poppins in S. CA, so it is around there somewhere. Maybe it is heading closer to you.

Yes i carry one. No brand bought it at Walmart, and only have the one.

I also carry a purse, but I try to keep it as light as possible. I don't really have a brand that I love, but I do like looking at the D & B Disney purses (but haven't bought one yet). I usually buy one purse, and then use it until it's worn out.

I carry a purse. It has a lot in it.
DD and I shop for purses all the time. Change them every month. I think I have 14 for everyday, 3 for formal, and one (soon to be 2 ) for vacations when I don't carry as much in them.

I am the rare (i think) girl who does not like carry around purses or pocketbooks lol. I have a black hand purse for church and a MUD pocketbook for work. Thats it. But I do like looking at the Dooney and Burke Disney stuff

I have a purse that has almost everything in it. I am not the type of is into brand name items, so have a few things here, and there. I am more of a practical person when it comes to things like that.

With Labor Day approaching (a national holiday), I'm wondering if there are any holidays that are specific to where you live, and that the rest of the country may not celebrate.




Growing up in IL, we always got Casimir Pulaski day off from school. I'm pretty sure this was localized to Illinois, and maybe only parts of the state.

Kamehameha Day -Kamehameha Day on June 11, and is a public holiday of the state of Hawaii. It honors Kamehameha the Great, the monarch who first established the unified Kingdom of Hawaiʻi.

Besides Disney, what's your ideal vacation spot? Is it a place you've been before, or a place you've always dreamed of visiting?

I love cruising............doesn't matter where. Just love being on the ship. Disney is best, but any that have plenty to do during the day and good entertainment are good for me.

Taking a few weeks and driving up the Eastern Seaboard.

Japan. Enjoy the food, sight seeing, visiting with relatives, shopping....... and I have been there four times.
