*Exchangers-Come and join us for the QOTD & Chat w/us* Part 3-Our New Thread

This is the month of my daughter's birthday along with different family, and friends. So today's QOTD is-

*How many people do you know that has birthdays this month?

Besides Disney, what's your ideal vacation spot? Is it a place you've been before, or a place you've always dreamed of visiting?

With kids, I think my ideal would be a Disney cruise, although I have yet to go on one.

Without kids, Tahiti. No question. :)

Davy, my son, has a birthday this month! His party went from a small chuck e cheese party, to a monster Chuck e cheese party. It's insane...... 14 kids now, including him lol. What have I done?

What is one song from your past that takes you back to a certain memory-good, bad,... it could have been a song you heard at a certain celebration, a special song that you had with that someone special, your wedding song.......

"Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire" by Nat King Cole. Every time I hear it, warm holiday memories come flooding back. Such a beautiful song.

Congrats Heidi on being married for 26 years!

Monica, that is a very nice song.

Right now in front of me, I have a take out menu for a Chinese restaurant. So todays QOTD is-

If you were to order 5 different Chinese dishes that you, and your family would enjoy, what would it be?

Thank you leith and Patsy.

There wouldn't be 5 dishes here as its just John and i and John doesn't care for Chinese food.

I get either chicken chow mein or sweet and sour chicken for home, both would be with chicken fried rice and a couple of egg rolls. If i am at a buffet then i am more adventurous as i can just get a small amount to try.

We don't order Chinese food too often, as my DH doesn't really care for it. Growing up, I liked the fried wontons, chicken chow mein, and fried rice.

We would get-salt and pepper spareribs, house chow mein, schezwan eggplant, salt and pepper shrimp, and mongolian beef.

When you have a difficult time trying to find a gift for someone, what do you usually get them? Ex. do you go with cash/gift card....?

I am a cash kind of person, unless they ask for something specific.

If it's for someone who would likely enjoy going to a concert/play/sporting event, I've bought gift cards from Ticketmaster before. Or, perhaps tickets to the symphony?

I also have utilized the sales at Papyrus/Hallmark, and bought stationery for people, and included whatever stamps fit the envelopes (seems like so many now take 65 cent stamps). You could also include a snazzy pen, and you'd have a great gift! :)
