Sadly another actor has passed on. Gary Coleman who was best known as Arnold in Different Strokes had died at the age of 42 due to health related problems.

So my QOTD is-
Because of the way that he/she is acting....which actor/actress do you see going down a path of distruction?

I agree with PixieDust about Lindsay Lohan, and I'd also add Charlie Sheen.

Have you ever been on a cruise? If so, what three things do you enjoy about it the most?

If you have never been on one, what three things would you like to do on a cruise? Any particular activities? Why would you want to go on a cruise?

I've only been on one cruise, and that was 15 years ago. But, it was a lot of fun! I'd love to go on another one. There are activities for all ages, and the excursions you can do while in different ports are quite fun. It's also very relaxing to sit by the pool and just look out at the ocean.

I've been on day cruises, but that's about it. Us as a family tend to be very laid back, and I find that with cruises that you are constantly on the ships schedules and not your own. They also have a dress code that doesn't thrill me. I was considering a cruise originally when I started to plan a solo trip for myself. I ended up with 9 days in DL in Oct this year, as I can do what I want when I want, and other than the activities I want to do down there, am on my own schedule and not someone elses.

I have never been on a cruise, and have no real desire to as well. I like watching the t.v. shows where they show what is offered on a cruise, but I get sea sick so sticking to the land.

Good morning everyone. How is everyone enjoying their summer? My daughter's last day of school was last week. But, we all have a cold which does not make it fun. Luckily my daughter is getting over it and is spending time swimming with family, and friends. She is going to see the Shrek 3D movie on Friday. Has anyone seen it? She also wants to see Marmaduke.

Heard that some states were experiencing a storm, so hope all of you who are affected by it stay safe!

My kids don't get out till June 29th, so your school year is a month ahead of mine. Will try to take my kids to the beach at least a couple of times during the summer break, and at least a couple of times a week to the park nearby so that DS 7 can get his running fix. Have a great day everyone!

Our school year starts here the tues following Labour Day, which is traditionally the first weekend of Sept. This year the school year will start September 7th, and for the first time will have a 2 week spring break Mar/11 to compensate for massive cut backs to our schools (hate the Liberals we have in power at a provincial level, gutting the school system GRRR!!).

I have not been to the movies in a long time either. I do not like going to the movies, and usually end up sleeping. My daughter is going to the movies tomorrow with her friend, and friend's mom.
