Evil Clowns? Mickey Mouse? Divas? And turning 40!? Be afraid, be very afraid!

Five little pumpkins
Sitting on a gate.
The first one said,
"Oh, my it's getting late!"
The second one said,
"There are witches in the air!"
The third one said,
"But we don't care!"
The fourth one said,
"Let's run and run and run!"
The fifth one said,
"I'm ready for some fun!"
Ooooo went the wind
And out went the lights
And the five little pumpkins
Rolled out of sight.

Sunday, October 23, 2011:
'Tis true, all good things must come to an end and this trip will be no exception. Sunday will be our last day. But we have plans for one more get together at Storytellers for breakfast. If you have to end a trip, might as well end it with a Mickey waffle. :thumbsup2

After breakfast is over, everyone will head their own ways. Jane and I will hop in her car and begin the long, boring drive back to Vegas, but hopefully, if all goes as planned, it will be with a smile on my face after a wonderful birthday/Halloween trip with an amazing group of friends! :goodvibes

Up next......well....nothing left to do but wait 2 weeks and 2 days!! :yay:

Me, too!! And as a special bonus, our temps are finally dropping here in Las Vegas. We even got some rain yesterday. Right now it's cloudy, gray, and only about 65. Perfect!!! If only it was like this every day.
It won't last though. Stupid weather is supposed to go back up into the 80's by next week.

By the way, I love your new sig!! Did Jess do that or did you?

(Shhhhhh.....everyone be quiet.....maybe she won't know we're here.....)

;) Yes, I am here! Just avoiding posting more plans I guess because all that's left is the last day and no one wants to think about their last day of vacation. :(

I'll second that!! :thumbsup2

Thank you. Andrea made it for me. I believe she is Stitch626.

Of course there will be a smile on your face.

At some point during the day, I'd love to get my hands on one of these:

I think at $12 they are a bit steep, especially when I am not a fan of the Disney popcorn. Blasphemy, I know! But, my daughter Noelle has a birthday in November and I've already bought her the cutest Jack and Sally nightshirt. I thought what a wonderful package this would make for her gift! Empty out the popcorn, clean out the container thoroughly, put the night shirt inside the coffin and wrap the whole thing up! So, that is why I really want one of those.

They have these at The French Market too. It comes with a Muffuletta sandwich and home made chips for $14.99. After the AP discount it was just over $13.00. My BF and I shared it and it was pretty good. A much better deal than the popcorn.

Wow, thanks Sarah! That looks great and I am going to plan on getting one!

I know it. I wish I could do all that stuff on my computer.
Me, too!

Yes, yes! That's what I want. The sandwich. I saw that posted on another thread but I wasn't sure if they still had them. I think for lunch on Saturday I'm going to have to hit French Market. :thumbsup2

Um, one question though....what the heck is a Muffuletta sandwich?? I only like turkey. :rolleyes1

Hi Carol, I can't wait to see you again!! I'm so glad the timing worked out for you to be there that weekend. :)

You are such a weenie :flower3:

A traditional muffuletta consists of one muffuletta loaf, split horizontally. The loaf is then covered with a marinated olive salad, then layers of capicola, salami, pepperoni, emmentaler, ham and provolone. The sandwich is sometimes heated through to soften the provolone. The size of the muffuletta is enough to feed more than one person, and many stores sell quarter or half-muffulettas.

The olive salad consists primarily of olives, along with celery, cauliflower and carrot, found in a jar of Giardiniera. The ingredients are combined, seasonings such as oregano and garlic, are added, covered in olive oil and allowed to combine for at least 24 hours.

But that sounds yummo to me!! We totally have to go there for lunch on Saturday. I'm thinking sharing might be in order since we're going to Carnation Cafe for breakfast :rolleyes1 No worries, I'll let you keep the coffin.

I'm a weenie too because I didn't know either.:rotfl:

The plans look wonderful!! I hope you have good weather for that weekend.....sounds like it's a bit wet there this week. I love that Donald cup......he's not like my favorite character either....but that cup is CUTE!!! I also love that popcorn coffin....sweet!

I know you'll have a super fun weekend.....how could you not....disneyland & divas......sounds like a perfect combo!! :cool1:

You are such a weenie :flower3:
Well, duh. Didn't you read my tags?

Um, I don't think I'm going to share that sandwich with anyone. It sounds gross. :crazy2:

Can we just fast forward a few days??? I am ready to go NOW!
Me, too! Let's go. Just honk when you are here and I'll be right out!

I'm a weenie too because I didn't know either.:rotfl:
Us weenies got to stick together. :thumbsup2

Nah - she's a weenie because she only likes turkey :rolleyes1
Maybe they have a vegetarian version...... :rolleyes1

:p

Wet would be fine with me! I'd rather have wet than hot. I'm worried it's going to be hot and crowded, which is very possible in October. If it is, well, you will find me sitting my big butt on a park bench with a cold lemonade. ;)

No, it sounds delicious!! I'm not sure exactly what's on the FM one (there's lettuce and tomato and that's not traditional, so who knows exactly what's on there??), but it's probably fairly similar. Maybe we should go to the Hungry Bear instead???

No, we should still go to French Market because I know a couple of us wanted the Jack coffin. If the sandwich has lettuce and tomato then that's okay. It's the other nasty looking stuff that I saw in some online photos that I was not going to eat. :rolleyes1

Good thing I have no plans to travel to New Orleans....I'd starve! I know, I am too picky when it comes to food. Basically anything on the kid's menus I'll eat. :rotfl2: But hey, that makes me a cheap date!

Through thick and thin !

I bet they do, that would be yummy !!!

I made the popper dip Beth and it was delish. My hub dug into as soon as it came out of the over and burned his mounth.:rotfl:

That's when I am planning to go too! I already told Mike that I need to go there to get one; my DD and her husband are total Nightmare fans so I need at least one of the coffins. What do you all think about getting our food and grabbing some tables for the 1:30 Billy show?

It was really good! The bread was soft and fresh and the olive spread was really tastey.

Well, duh. Didn't you read my tags?

Try it! It wasn't gross, I promise.

The only thing I didn't like were the chips. They were a little over cooked.

Then stop looking at online pictures, silly!! Just look at the yummy-looking pic from French Market

Men are so funny (and impatient!!)

Ooooh, Billy Hill.............

The only thing I didn't like were the chips. They were a little over cooked.

It looks really good to me. The chips do look a little over-cooked in the pictures though (probably a good thing since I definitely don't need the chips...... sigh.)
