Everything you need to know about WDW Christmas- Tips & Secrets

Was that on over the weekend? I still have it DVR'd from last year and watch it on occassions. I loved the all access tours that he went on and seeing the start to finish process.

If you have FIOS it's on On Demand. :thumbsup2

After watching HGTV Behind the Magic, I cannot wait to see the gingerbread house. It gave me a greater appreciation for alll the individual attention and work that goes into it and all the other decor. Disney is amazing! I am going to use their technique for chocolate coating this year on some of my Christmas treats and shingles are on my must buy list for friends back home.:santa:

It seems you can also view this online here: http://www.hgtv.com/search/results.do?hgSearchString=disney&hgSearchType=HGTV.com

We leave in 11 Days! I wasn't planning to make a trip over to the three Boardwalk resorts, but based on this show I guess I'll have to!!

You should!! The Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Clubs) are beautiful at Christmastime!!! Although I haven't seen them, I hear the Swan and Dolphin are nice, too.

We've got just over two weeks, and I can't wait to be in the midst of Disney Christmas magic!!

I saw that special last year and it inspired me to book my trip this year. I've already set aside to take in the lobbies of the hotels on the monorail, just for the pure convenience. But I'm definitely trying to set aside some time to take in the boardwalk hotels. I even arranged to have an early breakfast at Boma, just so I can see the lobby there.

I just can't wait to emerse myself in the whole atmosphere.

We plan to hit BW, BC, YC, Swan & Dolphin on arrival. You can park at one location and walk or boat to the others, then on our MVMCP day we have breakfast ressie @ GF so will see that one and hop on monorail to see others, then probably boat from CR over to WL to see it. That is the plan at least.

I watched a few seconds of this and turned it off lol I have never been to Disney at Christmas and I want to be surprised by all the decorations. The first few seconds was beautiful though:rotfl:

I know what you mean! I've decided not to show my kids and DH so they can be suprised and I can anticipate their reaction!

I usually watch it on the HGTV.com site, but it is also posted on youtube at this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxaEtS4FwwM

In my US arrogance, I assumed all internet was created equal. :confused3
Good Luck viewing.

We went to AK one Christmas day (I think it was 2007) and no one was there. It was cold and rainy but was a great time to see everything. Has anyone been in the last 2 years and was AK ok to do on Christmas Day?

Hey everyone! I just found this thread and I have already gotten so much info!!! This will be our first time going to DW during the Christmas holidays and we are so excited!!! We will be there 12/11-12/15 staying at POR!! We are going to MVMCP, does anyone know if you can take photopass pics with Santa?

I love all the ideas for decorating the room!!!

My DH sent me this link today. Warning, it can be very dangerous to your pocket book!!! But it certainly has put me in the mood for a Disney Christmas! :cool1:

I am in SO much trouble... Since we'll be at the World for 10 days during prime Christmas decorating season, we decided to just put up our Disney tree this year. My DD8 has already said we need a bigger Disney tree next year for all the ornaments we already have!
