All I can still say is WOW! The rooms here are huge! From check in to departure everything was perfect!
Arrived at OKW at about 11:30, I didn't plan on the room being ready, so I had packed the swimsuits and some laundry I could do while the kids enjoyed a swim. Guard at Gate gave Welcome Home, which we really missed at BCV. Check in lines were very long so I anticipated a long wait--nope only ten minutes and to my surprise the room was alreay ready for us. Building 4--I had no requests here except my sons medical for a non-smoking room. I was given a Welcome home from the front desk person as well, and the youngest was given a balloon.
Went over to check out room and move car. The room was wonderful! It overlooked the golf course and I couldn't have wished for a more perfect location. Everything was clean and well stocked. Towels were the correct count and I guess if I were really picky I could say a few tiles needed a little grout around the tub, but it really didn't bother me--I just made a note of it for those who really pay attention to those things!
Each time we left with our own car we were welcomed home upon return. Busses were very effecient and we encountered no transportation problems--I think this is the most effecient resort I've tried.
Trash and towel day was preformed as scheduled. I did not notice anyone leaving trash laying around outside of the building.
The kids noticed a CM's name tag said Orchard Park, New York which is close to us and he started chatting with them--we learned he is our pastor's nephew. Small world LOL.
Many more vacations will spent here and as I continue to save up for a resale, I'm sure the points will be from OKW a place we really want to call our "home". Though I really love WLV, there is a laid back feeling of being on vacation at OKW that makes me feel I could stay there forever. This is a place I could stay and keep the kids busy even without park passes.
