Everyone loves ________ but I just don't get it!

Everybody loves the Lights, Motors Action stunt show - I don't get it!

Everybody loves the Indiana Jones Stunt Show - I don't get it!

Everybody loves Stitches Great Escape (or do they?) - I don't get it! (can't stand the character either!)

Lou- i am so with you- i hate those stunt shows- bore me to death and it's hot as can be in those theaters. Also i agree about the Sci-Fi- same darn clips over and over and over...:confused3

I AGREE WITH ALL THREE! :thumbsup2

Everyone loves- complaining about various disney attractions- I don't get it.

They are all awesome.

I don't get the whole autograph thing.

I once was flamed here for suggesting to a woman who was lamenting over the fact that there were some autographs that she just couldn't get for her niece back home, that she just sign the names herself. I think if Joe Jones dressed up like Mickey Mouse can sign "Mickey Mouse", then Aunt Sue can do so as well on her long flight home from the world. :confused3

Yes, I can see little kids getting autographs, but adults??

Man...ain't that the truth. I often wonder, when people sit back and think about it, how silly they must feel when they stood in line in the heat, then pushed and shoved their way to the front only to have a unidentified person wearing a large plastic head forge an autograph of someone/thing that doesn't exist, in reality.

Humanity can be quite foolish at times.

:confused3

Everybody loves __Fantasmic__ but I just don't get it.
Its so boring.....the only good part was the ending with the dragon.Once you get over the oooooooh ahhhhhhh factor of the water screens(which took four seconds), its a parade...better to get in three rides on Areosmith or TOT while the foolish crowd participates in this colossal waste of time.Better yet...go see Wishes!!!!

I cannot get enough of this thread.

People that don't like Illuminations? Yikes. :lmao:

I have a ten-night vacation coming up this November, and will watch Illuminations five times (at least). There is, to me, to better experience at Disney than dinner in the World Showcase and Illuminations. Then I nice walk back to Boardwalk.

Love it.

Agree! My thoughts exactly.

Everyone loves ___dole whips & crocs____ but I just don't get it!

Not that I thought the dole whip was bad but I expected it to be better.

I'm sorry, I know a lot of people love them, but ::flame suit on::
I think crocs were one of the ugliest shoes invented.

Okay, this is a little different take on the question, but....

Everyone loves ___to warn people w/kids about Snow White's Scary Adventures____ but I just don't get it!

We were fortunate enough to have 3 days at MK on our recent trip. The first 2, we avoided this ride because of the (IMO) overwhelmingly negative press it got. "Too scary!" "Your kids will be terrified!" "It's too dark!" "The witch is awful!" But on our third visit we decided, what the heck, let's do it. Well, when we exited the ride, DH and I looked at each like, "THAT was it? THAT was the ride with the scary reputation?" Our little girls (5, 4, and not quite 3) never batted an eye, never even so much as moved in closer the whole ride! Now, I'm not saying there won't be some children who may be a little scared, but I can't see them being any more scared of this than, say, Peter Pan's Flight (very dark) or even Winnie The Pooh (rain, the dream sequence).

Everyone loves _Test Track_ but I just don't get it!

I go faster in my car on Rt. 309. I still ride it but it isn't one of my favorites.

My thoughts exactly!! In fact, my experience was almost the exact same as yours. Avoided the ride at first, rode it on the last day on a whim when there was no line. Everyone (me, DW, DD7 and DS4) liked it. A charming, classic Disney dark ride.

I remember the old Illuminations (have it on video; how boring!!!) and love the recent one. In fact it is my favorite attraction in all of WDW. And, the Christmas holiday version is unbelievable!!!!

Well, haven't seen the holiday one - but we will when we're at BCV in November - we'll wave to you!

Honestly though, the original IllumiNations at least had recognizable music: Selections from The Nutcracker (I think it was the Russian dance); and the theme from Rodeo, among others.

JMHO - and as someone else wisely said, to each his own! :)

Also, DH's immediate answer to this thread, when I asked him his opinion:
"Everybody loves ....the DDP.... but I just don't get it!!" :rotfl:

Would be interested to hear your opinion of the holiday version. Hope you will post on the site. Have a great trip!
