This is my first trip as an adult - I had a one day trip to the MK when I was 8 - and I'm getting alot of the "you're crazy" too

Yes I'm crazy but that has nothing to do with going solo to WDW
Our office assistant has made this something of a campaign -
*Did you know it's really hot at the end of August in Orlando? What are you going to do by yourself in all that heat?
--No, really it's hot in Florida??? I had no clue.

As for what I'll do by myself in all that heat probably the same thing I'd do if I weren't by myself ... well unless Prince Charming gets out of my dreams and into my (ride) car
*Don't you have any friends?
--Ummmm, yes. (Picture blank stare ala and your point is?).
*Well then you should go with them.
--But they're my friends and I like them. Why would I subject those I care about to me early in the morning, late at night, with sore feet, or my obsession with finding the perfect touring plan? Now folks who annoy me - bring it on... hey what are you doing at the end of August? (OK, I didn't really say that last part but I wanted to).
*It's dangerous in the world for a woman on her own.
--I've lived in very large east coast cities - and many a bad neighborhood - by myself since I was 19. N-E-X-T
*You should go with some kids.
--I thought the point of a vacation was to enjoy yourself.
*Why don't you wait until you have your own kids?
--Oh that's so sweet that you think I'm *that* young. Lots of water, sun avoidance, and moisturizer make a big difference, huh?
*Aren't you going to be lonely?
--Nope, I like peace and quiet ... hint, hint.
You get the idea...
I've just learned to tune her out and the other nay sayers. They're either jealous or too scared to do things on their own.
