Everest is NO Thunder Mt.

Gotta chime in here and say that my dh doesn't really like roller coasters and is afraid of heights...however after seeing how much fun me and my 7 y.o. ds had on it he gave it a try...and LOVED IT!!! That being said, he has a very sensitive stomach but he did not get motion sickness!

Glad to hear your DH loved the ride, sometimes you have to try them to know.
Can't wait to try EE, I'll probably be going along DW won't ride coasters anymore, but riding alone will be fine. The going backwards really seems like it'll be great. I have only been on one coaster that you road backwards and that was a Great Adventure Jackson NJ, the entire ride, you rode backwards, it was wild.

I can't wait to try it. :goodvibes 2 DS's and I will ride if all goes well. We won the coupon for a free photo on this ride. Can't wait. Just a few more days :dance3:

I never get motion sickness - ever. However, the backwards part on EE left me feeling quite queasy and disoriented. As soon as it (the backwards part, not the ride) was over I was fine, and loved it overall. It was just those few seconds that I was  DH felt horrible afterwards and he normally can do coasters, just not anything that spins. I think it is just one of those things that varies from one person to the next and you just don't know how you will react until you try it.
