Ever "taken" anything from WDW?

I know, everyone is going to think that I'm a crook for posting this, but I was just curious about this topic.

Other than the souveniers that I have purchased at WDW, one of my favorite "things" I have brought home was a pinecone from POP that flew by my head during Hurricane Charley while we were there. This pinecone was HUGE, so I brought it back to Missouri to show everyone the opwer of the hurricane.

Anyone else do anything like this? Be honest!

I took the toiletries back home with me and just used my own that I brought from home. I just love the little shaped soaps, lotions, shampoo, etc.

Sentimental stuff:
When my son was much younger, whenever he & I would go for walks (at home, at the beach, wherever) - he'd sometimes pick up a rock, pinecone, or shell. I have kept all of that in a small corner of my desk (by my family photos) here at work - I'm looking at a couple of dozen random pebbles, walnut husks, broken shells, pinecones. I've got a nondescript, sorta toothish-looking stone from our first trip to Disney in 10/01 - he swore it was a fossil T-Rex tooth when he found it. He found it walking a path at the All-Stars resort right after a typical Florida afternoon mini-monsoon (you know, 15-minute-long downpour and then it's sunny).

This is going to sound really stupid but...when we were at our first stay in our DVC home resort of BWV, they were painting some hallways. We took one of the wet paint signs..it has Donald on it!!! It was pretty well used..not a brand new one at least. We tried to take a painter or two, with their paint supply, home from Pop in august. They were repainting the walls with the exact color lavender dd wants in her bedroom!!!!

drink stirrers
lemon picks
postcards and stationery from the room
toiletries
some shells
plastic shopping bags

among other things...

I love to take the pens from the rooms. So when im at school, super bored, i look down at my hand and then i get all happy. And when they die, i refill them with other pen ink things.

and the 'stationary' or "postcards" the deluxes leave in the rooms.

i have my WDW resorts pens at work...i have white, red, and green capped ones.

We do this too and then give them to a battered women's shelter.

I won't mention exactly whom it was... but a group of us went to dinner at Nine Dragons and someone in our group thought the chopsticks were free. Everyone else at the table disagreed but the thief took them anyways. A few days later we went back (for another meal) and the thief actually asked about it (of course they are not meant to be taken.)
Needless to say, the thief felt really bad and the rest of us laughed about it for the rest of the trip. Now, everytime we go there... we remind this person that they shouldn't take the chopsticks (or anything else that's not nailed down.)

I really have a fetish with taking the pens . . . .Also, the shower caps because they come in great once a month when I dye my hair . . . Which reminds me I'll have to get some more this Monday because I'm running low . . . .

The first and only time we got a towel animal (two trips ago), I wanted to take it home. I went to the front desk to ask how much for the animal. They said if housekeeping left it for you, then it was yours to take home at no charge. So home he went with me.

I think it is kind of fun to see what each person brings back home to help remember their trip. This year was my first with a digital camera, so I took many, many pictures of things that I just wanted to remember.

I cannot think of the little balls near Space Mountain. Interesting. That is my favorite attraction.

And you get to keep towel animals? I never knew that!
