How does Disney keep track of Everyone staying at a deluxe hotel

when you scan into each ride or into the park with either a magic band or your room key or your phone the hotel information is automatically linked up.

what if you are already in the park ? I have a 2 year old and I know extended hour are slowed since it’s supposed to be exclusive so wanted to make sure it’s not for just anyone who is in the park At that time

Your magic band/room key/ticket has the resort linked to it. They will scan it before allowing you to enter each ride. Anyone who is not staying at a deluxe resort will not be allowed to enter the ride.
