.*Even Miracles Take A Little Time.* A Beyond Birthdays PTR ~Complete~

Hey Timmy,
You are going to love Quebec. Specially in the Spring! :)
Are you coming to Montreal too or Quebec City only? Are you taking some French classes? I am sure it will be a lot of fun.
I hope the Disneyland trip works out for you too. You forgot to mention the 4th mountain, BTW:Matterhorn! ;)

Have agreat week!
Q

Hi Queila! :)

I'm so excited, there is so much they have planned for us and its my first time out of the country. I get so hyped up just thinking about it (:

I'm just going to Quebec City sadly. I would love to go to Montreal someday though, that's one place my parents have been A LOT lol I'm not taking French classes either since I take Spanish at school, but I'm fairly good when it comes to basic french and what I learned years ago. Hopefully I'll survive... at least I'll have my French student friend ;)

It seems very bleak at the moment... maybe there will be a big turn around :/ Wow! How can I forget Matterhorn Mountain! Uggghhh... well, I can't wait to try that either might I add here

You too :)

FOR WE NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS... AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So, I guess you're thinking "he's falling behind again"... "Guess this will be Timmy forever" and I'm saying NO! NO! NEVER AGAIN! I guess it's just with Christmas and all the catching up I had to do I finally found time to update and since it's after the holidays I thought it would be a good time to give a RL update on my holidays, which I hope everyone's were as fun as mine were. I'll get into that later though...

So, about the trip AGAIN... it seemed to perk up a bit in terms of possibly going. I brought it up again and my mom was once again into it. For the longest time she kept on saying she had been to Disneyland and then... well, I'll let you into a little peek into our conversation:

"Yeah, I went there. I remember we went on the Elephant ride safari thing."

*gives confused look* "Ummm... wouldn't that have been the San Diego Zoo (she was not talking about Dumbo)?"

"Oh yeah... ummm... what did I do there? Uhhh... maybe I didn't go..."

*grins maniacally*

"Yeah that would be a fun trip!"

BREAKTHROUGH! Yes, my mom has finally come to the conclusion she has never been to Disneyland so it's back on the table again. I also showed her some ride-throughs and she got excited about those as well. I don't know how far this will go, but I'm persistent and I will find a way to go to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Also, as most of you may know, Disney announced on New Year's Eve night their new promotion of "One More Disney Day". If you don't know about it, here is a link to the site: http://onemoredisneyday.com/

Basically, on the Leap Year (well, day, February 29th), Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom from 6AM that day will have the parks open for 24 HOURS! Crazy right? I got so hyped then I remembered I wouldn't be going :( So, I went on the website and found out they are also having daily sweepstakes for this. Everyday from the 1st (which passed of course) till the 29th, you can enter for a daily sweepstakes as well as the grand prize of which you can pick among all these different prizes Disney is offering. One of them is a 4 night, 5 day stay at a deluxe resort and since that is what I was hoping to go to Disney for, I couldn't help but enter, which is a huge shock. I'm not a big sweepstakes person, seem a bit too much like lottery to me, but I'm desperate so everyday I'm entering and hopefully I'll get chosen one of these days and then I'll be planning a trip to WDW once again :D

Yeah, so a lot of good news for that trip. Now, onto some other news for my Quebec trip I've been talking about. Well... I'M GETTING MY PASSPORT! Yes, we went to send all our information in and just in the nick of time. The latest the lady said I would get it is February the month prior to the trip. *sigh of relief* With that all squared away I will be going to Canada indefinitely.

Now, onto the holidays since that's what this update is about. Now, Christmas, since that is what came first, started really much before the actual day. We had Secret Santa at school and I'd consumed a ton of candy over those days, as well as had a little Christmas feast in my advisory. Lots of fun there. Then, two days before Christmas, we gave out our family gifts. I got a new sweatshirt from my parents, Body Wash from DYS (?) and then we were awaiting the arrival of something else from DOS, which I will get back to later. I didn't give out anything since my dad was busy and didn't have time to bring me out shopping for my mom and sisters, so the following day, I bought them all iTunes gift cards since everyone in our house has an iPod (well mine's gone at the moment) so I got those. We also enjoyed a lot of great food over those few days, my mom baking her famous apple pie which I will get a food picture of one of these days. You MUST see this thing, it is MUY DELICIOSO! But I won't tease you too much.

Alright, now onto Christmas day. Just a little rundown on me and Christmas, I am a big fan. I've always enjoyed Christmas. The togetherness and happier moments of the year always happen around this time and I've just relished in it so much, as everyone else in my house feels the same way since our Christmas always starts at 2 in the morning with a little visit from St. Nick himself. I, being me, always get up a bit earlier to go check out what I got. I made a little web show when I went down there, but I can't find my sister's camera where the cartridge is in so I can't upload, but I'll show it to you later since it gives you an actual image of what our family room looked like at that hour. But here is what I got:

First and foremost was a whole lot of clothes, but I don't think they are interesting enough for pictures and I'd rather not dig through my closet to get them (since I'm feeling under the weather today). After that I found this:

0102121200.jpg

SEASON 2 OF GLEE! WOOHOO! I love this show for those of you who don't know, and I can't stand how people downgrade it so much because it really is good and the singing is legit. I don't watch it anymore since most of this new season isn't really so cohesive and as entertaining as the prior season and the first, but still I have another season of Glee to watch over and over again :)

Now, for the Big Kahuna, sitting in a box next to all these other amazing gifts was a BRAND NEW LAPTOP:

downsized_0102121201.jpg

Yeah, I had to jump on into that one. So... for those of you who have been following me for the past year or so know I've had laptop troubles. I've had a Dell Inspiron 1525 for 3 years and it had it's ups-and-downs and was working fine at the beginning of this year then decided to crash and burn. We got all the memory revived but after that, it was done for. So, for awhile I was living off my dad's old work laptop, which I didn't really like since it had crazy restrictions on it and stuff, which really bothers me. I needed my own! So now, I finally have one, all my own and it is a lovely working machine and amazingly doesn't overheat all that often :cloud9: LOVE IT!

Yup, so following that, I also got to look in my stocking, which I must show you all. First off, you should know my stocking was bought (or made) when I was a baby or prior to my birth so I didn't get to pick it out, it's just always been this way and nowadays we laugh at seeing what my parents had gotten me for a Christmas stocking:

downsized_0102121237.jpg

IT'S MICKEY! Yup, that's right. So basically I was born to be a DisNerd, know slight chance or anything like that. It was bound to happen. My sisters also have Disney stockings too, DOS has Minnie and DYS has Tinkerbell, but I had it first so more reason for me to become like I am today.

Now, inside of it, along with Candy I found this little beauty:

0102121237a.jpg

Luv me some iTunes! :D Nuff said there.

After all this, we all got to see our gifts, played a bunch of Just Dance 3 on the Wii (which is oodles of fun lemme tell ya) and some resting after an hour long night sleep, it was the following day and I went to my Uncle's for Christmas.

We always have fun at their house (we brought Just Dance 3 along and I watched Glee in the car ride there) especially because I get to have more of my mom's Apple Pie (so Divine!) and a lot of awesome food. We were a bit late since we had to drive my grandfather there so the food was already out when we got there and it was delicious. They always have these delicious potatoes and I had 3 servings of those. My family doesn't mess around when it comes to food. And the dessert... mmmm... yum! But I don't want to bother you with that since I have pretty pictures to show.

After all this, and some Just Dance 3 (some hilarious videos right there), it was gift time and this is what I got from my Uncle, the host:

0102121238.jpg

I actually asked for this for DIS-related purposes. For those of you who read my last TR know that I made a slideshow after and I'm clearly obsessed with making those, but I needed to update so voila! It is a bit slow at the moment, but I'm just trying to break it in a little to speed it, but I'll be using it soon enough :teeth:

Then, from my Aunt (not married to my Uncle, but my mom's sister), it was all about books there:

0102121240.jpg

I think Santa could learn a thing or two about what you can do with money for buying clothes and get all this great reading material :goodvibes

Lastly, from my grandfather, I got a little bit of money, always very handy :) And after that, everyone left... but it wasn't over for us yet...

The following day, we had a party at my house to see my dad's side of the family. This day didn't turn out to be as Christmas-y as planned, but that involved a lot of family drama which I won't talk about too much, but again, great food (more Apple Pie!) and it was great to see the family, even though it became a bit crazy. Anyways, onto the pictures.

From my uncle, I got...

downsized_0102121223.jpg

Yeah, some more laptop accessories. For those who are confused, one is a cooling pad I put on my lap, to regulate the laptop's heat, something I was very concerned about after my old laptop started to over-heat. Then, on top of it is a wireless mouse, which I definitely needed since the mouse pads aren't always user friendly or reliable :/

Moving along from my aunt (my dad's older sister), I got...

downsized_0102121241.jpg

A FLEECE! Now, I'm usually not one for clothing, but this was something I definitely needed. It was originally green, but when I wore it my mom and I deemed it a bit too small so she got a new one, but couldn't find green so we got blue. All-in-all, it's the thought that counts and the spirit of giving (though we didn't trade this one in).

Lastly, from my other uncle (the youngest in my dad's family)...

0102121240a.jpg

Again, iTunes gift cards are always nice to have :thumbsup2

Thus, that day ended the Christmas season for us. We had a lot of fun and I think we will definitely remember it for years to come. (I HAVE VIDEOS!) I hope everyone else had just as an awesometacular one as I did :)

Now, for New Year's, we didn't really do much actually. Usually we have a small little party at our house, but my parents left for a party so my sisters and I just enjoyed ourselves at home. Also, my sister and I had friends over the night before so we weren't in the mood to do much. Anyways... I was freaking out the whole night too, knowing they were going to reveal the "One More Disney Day" promotion and when I found out, I freaked out some more and now my year has been brightened and hopefully will not be Disney-less. Also, I was anxious to see what Lady Gaga was going to where lol

Today, I am not feeling well at all. I woke up this morning, my throat all flemmy, my nosing running and I'm sneezing up a storm. I also feel achy and just not myself at all today, which is sad because I was supposed to go running and driving with my dad :( Today is also the last day of vacation so school starts up again tomorrow and in the coming week (well the following week), I am auditioning for our school musical Anything Goes, always very exciting and then there is also more swim team and stuff going on, so I will be busy again, but I need more DIS because of that so I will be on more often and hopefully I will be bearing some good news.

Now, I'm going to get on with watching some Disney movies to brighten the New Year a little. Have a Magical New Year everyone!

:maleficen

Yay on the trip to Disneyland being back on the table!!! :woohoo:

I'm glad you will be going to Quebec and yay on getting your passport - that must be exciting!

Looks like you had a great Christmas and got a lot of awesome presents! Love the new laptop.

Oh no on not feeling well. Hope you are feeling a bit better - have a nasty cough and sore throat myself so know how awful it is :( Have been cheering myself up with the boards and television.

Yay on the trip to Disneyland being back on the table!!! :woohoo:

:cool1: I'm so excited and the sweepstakes I'm entering also has prizes that work for DL... oh gosh I have a big decision to make.

I'm glad you will be going to Quebec and yay on getting your passport - that must be exciting!

Thanks and I'm so excited! If I end up drawing out this PTR for longer than expected I'll have something to write about and something to put my mind off of Disney :goodvibes

Looks like you had a great Christmas and got a lot of awesome presents! Love the new laptop.

It was a very awesome Christmas in many ways. It's so awesome, I LOVE this laptop, hopefully this one will last longer than my defective Dell.

Oh no on not feeling well. Hope you are feeling a bit better - have a nasty cough and sore throat myself so know how awful it is :( Have been cheering myself up with the boards and television.

Yeah, I ended up staying home today on my first day back at school. I'm really stuffed up now and have some major post nasal drip. Good thing I don't have the aches and the sore throat again. I'll probably watch some Disney movies later to distract me for awhile. Maybe I'll document those on here, hmmm... :teeth:

AND THE RAIN, RAIN, RAIN CAME DOWN, DOWN, DOWN

So, this is just a quick update since I don't have a lot to update on since I really wrote a lot on the last one but I didn't want to leave this PTR untouched for over a week so I think I'll be doing more pre-reviews of Disneyland rides since I haven't done any of that and if I'm going to win that sweepstakes I should be looking at options, but before that I have another topic to address.

For those who were here before I made my PTR into a DL PTR, I was originally planning to go to WDW and with this Sweepstakes Disney is holding I'm actually reconsidering. While I think DL would be a better experience I miss my EPCOT, DHS and AK. I've also been reading SOOO many WDW TRs, there is so much I want to do that I've missed. I've also been keeping up with a lot of reliable Disney fan sites and there is so much going on I want to enjoy so I've put it back on the plate, but if I don't win or my thoughts change, DL it is! There are also some even bigger changes that will come with that...

I don't want to give too much away so I don't make a mega-update like that last one, but I think for this trip Nate won't be going. Though we're really good friends, stress hasn't been doing me good lately (especially during the past week) and trying to figure out with how we'll be getting him to WDW that would take a TON of planning. So, Jocelyn will be joining the crew again and she's very eager to go. Same with my mom! I've also wanted to add a third person, my friend, Margaret. The trip allows 4 so I added her and there is also this reason: Margaret is a Disney Hater. Yes, call it what you will, Mickey Hater, Anti-DISer, etc. She doesn't like the place. She had a bad experience and really believes that's what Disney is about. Jocelyn and I want to show her what Disney is all about and change her mind since we've gone many times and always have a great time. I will give her a better bio later.

And that's the crew... my sisters may end up going in place and it will be a family vacation whatever comes of it, but we'll see when the time comes and if we win (which is probably highly unlikely (NOT)).

Now onto my pre-reviews which will be for today: California Screamin' and Grizzly River Run...

I'll start with CALIFORNIA SCREAMIN':

tumblr_los69apjtF1qi7900o1_500.jpg

As I mentioned before this is me going out on a limb with this ride. I'm a ride wimp for most of you who aren't familiar with my TRs. The scariest ride I've probably been on is actually Tower of Terror and that's not a lot (unless you think EE is worse). I usually enjoy scary rides once I get on, but it's a process getting me on it, but I really want to go on this. It looks really cool and I love the whole theming behind the ride. I also want to ride that Mickey mouse loop :thumbsup2 So, I will totally be pushing myself here.

Now for GRIZZLY RIVER RUN:

grizzly_river_run-19630.jpg

I'm wicked excited about this. I feel like such a bad DISer for saying it, but I was disappointed by Kali River Rapids. I just wish you got more wet on it and it went faster and longer. It's just such a short ride. Grizzly River Run looks a ton better. It has the biggest drop for the ride of its kind in the world AND YOU SPIN GOING DOWN IT! Oh, I'm totally excited for this. I hope it lives up to my expectations ::yes::

So those are my pre-reviews, say what you have opinionated on these attractions, I'd LOVE to hear. I value other people's opinions more than anything.

Now, I want to update on my life since it kinda shows why I updated this update the way I did. I mentioned earlier in the update how my past week wasn't exactly a very favorable one. After my last update, I got sick and was out of school for two days and came back still sick. It really wore me down for some reason and it attributed to a tired weekend and some things happened I won't talk about but it wasn't good and I'm starting to get nervous about what happened. I won't say much, but I think I've gotten fully over whatever bug and I had. It's all good, if you want to know. :)

Yeah, way to end on a serious note, Timmy! Way to be! LOL Well, as I always end with...

I hope you all have a Magical Week!

:maleficen

I really hope the sweepstakes will be lucky for you! I tially get what you mean about missing Disney World! I keep reading TRs and going on the WDW website to price up a trip...just in case ;)

Sounds like the changes in the group that are going is for the best. Margaret definitely needs to be around peoiple like you to show her true Disney and hopefully change her mind.

The California Screamin' looks like fun but definitely SCARY at the same time! :rotfl:

Ooh Grizzly River Run looks great and I hope it lives up to your expectations. I agree about KRR and not getting wet enough!

Glad to hear you are feeling better and hope the rest of 2012 is good for you :goodvibes

Haha... oh my gosh, I'd probably be doing the exact same thing if I didn't know the possibility of a trip wouldn't cost anything lol But if I don't win... well, I know what I'll be doing in my free time

Sounds like the changes in the group that are going is for the best. Margaret definitely needs to be around peoiple like you to show her true Disney and hopefully change her mind.

Yeah, that's why I changed. She is totally ready to turn us down if I win, but I'm forcing her in. It's not every day someone wins a sweepstakes! ::yes::

The California Screamin' looks like fun but definitely SCARY at the same time! :rotfl:

I've heard its really fun and a lot of people compare it to RnRC at WDW, even if they are different but they are the only Disney rides with inversions and a launch so it makes them sorta similar, but I shouldn't be saying anything. If I can go on one and I can most likely go on the other... how does that sound? :cool1: ;)

Ooh Grizzly River Run looks great and I hope it lives up to your expectations. I agree about KRR and not getting wet enough!

Yeah, I mean KRR can get you SOAKED no joke, but you have to be lucky to go down the drop backwards so it's luck of the draw with that. Grizzly River Run seems to really get all sides so... we'll have to wait and see! :D

Glad to hear you are feeling better and hope the rest of 2012 is good for you :goodvibes

Thanks Tanz! I hope 2012 will be another awesome year for you too :)

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE AND IS A BLESSING

I seem to be making big decisions when it comes to all my online activities, though I think this one is a bit bigger. So... I've made a tough decision and hopefully it will be for the better. I've decided...

I will NO longer be pushing a trip to Disneyland and SoCal.

Yup... I've made it and it makes me so sad to actually announce it. As I've observed, the more I bring up Disney and having a trip, the more my parents get angry about it and are more averted to the idea. Though I personally don't want to wait a year or so until I go again, maybe my chances are better then. I don't know, but unless my mom asks where we want to go on vacation, I'll bring it up but as of now, I don't think there will be any further discussion, since I think that's the only way I'll be able to get to the next trip. So, I will be putting this PTR on hold. There will be no true planning from here on out within this PTR, I may post random life updates as well as a mini-TR from my Quebec trip, but no true Disney trip stuff, but of course, I can't fully throw Disney to the wind so there will be Disney talk when it arises and who knows maybe there is a trip on the horizon just waiting to show itself :)

Okay, now onto some updates on my not-so amazing life ;)

So... I did get into Anything Goes. I am playing the role of the Ship's Purser, not an extremely big role, but still I'm very excited. We've read through the script and the show is hilarious. If I can, I will have to get one of my stage crew friends to film me during rehearsal for you all when tech week comes around (which won't be for awhile), but that's something to look for.

Also, on an update of the Quebec trip, I got my PASSPORT!!!! Very exciting! I also have to pass in my room assignment requests tomorrow. I'm starting to get very anxious, but... only TWO MONTHS!! How time flies :teeth: It's also nerve-wracking since I'm having trouble picking who I want to room with. Hopefully I just won't be placed with people I don't want to be near at all or who could cause some trouble for me.

Well, that's it for this update. I will be catching up soon on all your TRs since I disappeared for a bit because of school work.

As always, Have A Magical Day!

:maleficen

Awww, Timmy I'm sorry that there is no Disney on your horizon soon. Who know though, maybe something will happen or change along the way. Don't be too sad about it (even though I know it can be depressing). At least you'll be going to Quebec, which is pretty awesome to me. Just live vicariously through others TRs. ;)

I'm not good at all with checking pre-trips. Limited DIS time pretty much keeps me focused on actual trips reports. I am just catching up and seeing your Christmas posts. Looks like you got plenty of goodies! :santa:

Congratulations for being in the play! I'm sure you'll rock your part out! :woohoo:

I am sorry about your trip plans, but you will have many trips ahead in your lifetime. You have the Disney love, so I know you will get there when you can. I'm sure your family will get into planning mode again one of these days. And, you may think it's forever, but it won't be that long before you and some college friends can plan a trip together, and you can show them around one of your favorite places. :wizard:

Until then, you will be doing so many fun things and going all kinds of places that some of us will never see. Enjoy those to the fullest!

Thanks Danielle :) I'm really hoping that's how it will work out, but everything happens for a reason and maybe my TRUE trip of a lifetime is just around the corner. For now, as you say, I will live vicariously through the world of TRs (even though I've been absent due to school work).

Yeah, Quebec... VERY excited for that! There is just so much to look forward to and even though Disney is always on the mind, Quebec is right there alongside it. I get to go eat in a spinning restaurant with a wonderful view. I'll just imagine Chip and Dale walking around with Pluto dancing and Mickey being a you-know-what to us the last time we were there *sigh* I can't wait to experience the Canadian culture much less getting to share it with you! And then... in the year following I'll be back in Disney soon enough. :yay:

I'm not good at all with checking pre-trips. Limited DIS time pretty much keeps me focused on actual trips reports. I am just catching up and seeing your Christmas posts. Looks like you got plenty of goodies! :santa:

It's okay, MeMom. I've had VERY little DisTime and I rarely follow PTRs and when I do... I'm terrible about keeping up. The TRs are what I REALLY look forward to on here and yet I have two TRs running lol Anyways... Christmas was an awesome one, I feel like such a kid when it's Christmas as well as talk about it, lots of goodies definitely. Love how I have a laptop, but I have yet to use the gift cards. Hopefully we will get my iPod fixed soon :thumbsup2

Congratulations for being in the play! I'm sure you'll rock your part out! :woohoo:

Thanks, I'm really excited for it (Even though my script is MIA after one week of rehearsal. I'm just losing everything now, though I think someone is taking my stuff. Not. Cool.)

I am sorry about your trip plans, but you will have many trips ahead in your lifetime. You have the Disney love, so I know you will get there when you can. That's what I truly got to look forward for, but I'm sure you know how hard it is for us DISers to even be deprived of the place for a day, so... it's tough, but as you said (with persistence) more trips will come my way. My mom has said she would love to go back to Orlando and maybe even take a longer trip to enjoy Universal and SeaWorld as well. Also Quebec is on the horizon so that will take my mind off of it. And, being me, I've already got my graduation trip covered (DGE 2014, I'm sure you recognize from my signature) and then the DCP following of course, every teen DISers dream so... yeah, maybe you're right. Well, either way, I'll be crossing my fingers for much sooner trips :teeth:

Until then, you will be doing so many fun things and going all kinds of places that some of us will never see. Enjoy those to the fullest!

I sure will :)

POST DISNEY 1 YEAR AND GOING STRONG

Alright, so I am SUPER sorry I disappeared for like months. I'm pretty sure I told everyone on their TRs why I disappeared so I won't repeat (if I missed yours please let me know). Anyways, the real reason I started this update was NOT about my absence, but for something a bit deeper. I'm sure those I've told or who read my TRs know what I'm talking about. The past week was the 1 year anniversary of my school trip to Disney and the last time I was ever there. So I really needed the DIS more than ever to commemorate this occasion as well as because I'm in the most un-Disney situation, the exact place I didn't want to be: In a ski lodge, snow piling up outside and it's not stopping anytime soon. This is the same place I ended up last year after my trip and I just didn't want to go back for that reason and because this week just hasn't gone right at all.

I'll explain... First, on the drive up my stomach wasn't feeling right and the whole drive became very uncomfortable and longer than usual. Then, throughout many decisions on what we did this week, I kept on being left out and it really put a damper on things. After that, I finally had a good day and I thought things were looking up. Then, on my last snowboarding run, I had a major wipeout and I'm healing today (the day after). Seriously, this was my worst wipeout ever. I mean, everything that could've happened did from nosebleeds to major headache. It wasn't fun and I just needed to talk about it on the one place that will help me in any way, shape or form, the beautiful DIS :goodvibes

Alright, so moving on from that I have some good stuff to talk about too. Firstly, because the whole Disneyland trip went out the window for my birthday I decided to find a "replacement" of sorts and decided on something I've always wanted to do and is MUCH cheaper. Did you guess what it is? Well, it is to see a...

BROADWAY SHOW!!

Yup, I'm actually really excited for this even though it isn't Disney. The only problem is I can't decide which show to see. Here is the list I came up with:

Phantom of the Opera
Wicked
Mary Poppins
Anything Goes
The Lion King

I have different reasons to each and it seems they all balance each other out. I did have a family vote on it and The Lion King won with Wicked and Mary Poppins, very close behind. But those were my favorites too (with Phantom, but that's because I'm nervous how long it will still be on Broadway). So now I want your opinion. Give me a list of each of these from 1 to 5, 1 being the one you think is the better of the 5 and 5 being the worst. My family has seen no Broadway shows together so if you have your opinion will help greatly. For those who aren't so familiar with the Broadway repertoire and these productions, here are some playbill covers to jog your memory or familiarity (though I know some you probably already are familiar with ;)) :

ANYTHING GOES

PLEASE put together your lists for me because I'm so stressed about this decision (I'm so weird).

I also want to direct your attention to my signature. If you notice the Disneyland countdown and replaced it with another ( :( ). And this new one says 11 days until My Quebec Adventure. So, if you're totally flustered or need confirmation, yes I am going to Quebec with school in less than TWO WEEKS!!! WOOHOO!!!! So excited! I've been anticipating this trip since the beginning of the year and now it's here. I can't wait to experience it as well as share it with all of you when I get back. I just hope I can find my camera charger :/

Now, I must warn you, I will have a lot going on in this coming month of March. I have rehearsals for Anything Goes, my school musical and those are going to get ridiculous. I will promise to get on as much as I can, but it will be tough. And I will keep you up to date on that as well since I get to show you ridiculous pictures of me in a sailor suit

Well, that is the end of my update. And I wanted to show you some photos I recently found from my trip last year that have never been seen before *dramatic music* to leave you with:

And as always, have a magical day! :maleficen

Timmy! I thought you had run away with the circus.
Sorry about your trip but take heart, I believe the Matterhorn was to be closed at the time you planned to go, and with your skiing mishap you may want to stay away from snowy mountains.:rotfl2:

Broadway? Hmm, I'd see Phantom it's fabulous. Anything Goes, isn't that the musical you're in?
Really you can't go wrong with any of them.

Sorry to hear about your ski misadventure. I love skiing in the morning, tennis or golf later in the day (it's possible where I live).

Wow it's getting close to your trip, be sure to take lots of pictures and have a wonderful time.

LOL, nope I'm still where I was before, just a bit busier than before lol

Awwww... it's okay, I will most likely be going to DLR someday when the matterhorn IS open lol And it was actually a snowboarding mishap specifically but that's just me being specific, but that sounds like a good idea for awhile :teeth:

Phantom looks really good. I saw little trailers on the Broadway site for it and it looks stunning, but both my parents have seen it so something different may be better but I'll have to see... Yup, that is the musical I'm in. I thought it would be interesting to see on Broadway but I may have a Beauty & the Beast complex (another musical I was in) and just point out the flaws in the production I'm seeing lol I don't know we'll see but thanks for your input. :)

It was not fun at all. Like I've had bad wipeouts before, but with this winter and the mountain being so icy my fall was just a lot worse than it usually would have been. I mean, I never got a bloody nose before this and totally freaked out. I really hope more snow builds up so they can groom it and get rid of those icy areas. But you're so lucky you can play tennis or golf after, darn you Californians! ;)

Wow it's getting close to your trip, be sure to take lots of pictures and have a wonderful time.

Thanks Tink! I will, I just need to find where my sisters took the charger so I can get it all charged up as well as buy a new card. I promise to get some food pics too so you guys can ogle over the delicacies of beautiful Quebec hehe

No Cali, Southern Rockies and around a couple hours to one of the most famous ski areas in NA:cool2:

No Phantom? I'd say Wicked, I've heard it's wicked:lmao:. Saw the cast on some tv show and they were pretty good.

Oh, I always thought you were in Cali from your MANY DLR trips, but I guess the Rockies are close, right? Sorry, not a geography wiz here, but that's so cool you live close to a famous skiing area, may have to go there one day :thumbsup2

I would LOVE to see it, but both my parents have seen it and when I brought up Broadway shows to see, my mom and dad were both like "Oh, I've seen that one already" which inferred means "We're not seeing that". I really want to see Wicked, but Mary Poppins and The Lion King look just as good, but I think after consideration The Lion King may be it since it is the one with the Tony for Best Musical and it is a Disney musical, it is just a must-do for a DISer, but we'll see :goodvibes

I recently saw The Lion King when it came through town- Truly Amazing, and I think your whole family would enjoy it!

I plan on seeing Mary Poppins if I ever get to NY!

And I've hear Wicked is Phenomenal!!!

Lion King is definitely at the top of my list, it seems popular and every person who's seen has really enjoyed it. But as point out, the others are good contenders too.

Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for your input! :)

Hey Timmy!

I have to vote for The Lion King - it's a great broadway show.

Enjoy your Quebec adventures! Can't wait to hear all about them.

Tanz :)

WHEN IN NEED OF A DISNEY RANT...

Go to the DISBoards!

Yeah, just ending my title right there, even though I think "When in need of a Disney rant..." is nuff said and now for my rant...

For those who are on Twitter, probably know about this already, but first I must begin with a picture...

Anyone remember this infamous picture?

294.jpg

Well, that's Nate! Know where he is? Downtown Disney (well, Disney World) and know where he is right now? Disney World. Yup, so VERY jealous of him right now (and that is my rant right there), but he is already getting me a pin and a Mickey straw (since I lost mine on my last trip :( ), so I am helping him currently and I'm sending out a call for help from all you DISers...

I'm sending him to all these places to try out foods and stuff I know you've recommended and I've enjoyed, but I want to see what I really need to send him to get. I've already told him to go get a Dole Whip, Schoolbread and a lot of the classics, but if there is anything not well-known that you enjoy please tell me. He is only down there for one more day, but I'd like to help him make it a real nice day so I appreciate any help.

Also, I've also wanted to report about the on-goings in my world concerning Disney because things are starting to get me really hyped, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but my family has been happily talked about Disney. First, was in the car back from my trip up north (where I had a bad wipeout). We started talking about the last resort we were at (we were watching Princess & the Frog in the car and just got into a Disney conversation), which was Kidani Village AKL and how it would be awesome to stay at the Beach Club Villas if we go through the same person. I didn't hang onto this much, because my mom stopped me before I ran on, but then something else happened...

At home, we were watching Good Morning America when they announced the christening of the Disney Fantasy. My sisters got really excited and started really talking about Disney cruises. Then, they actually went to the website, I repeat, went to the website! It was amazing. I think the Disney gods were really working with me at this point.

Also, a bit before this (going out of order here, sorry), I was talking to my mom just casually about WWoHP. We've really wanted to go back and see this, same with Sea World. Then, she brought up the fact, maybe we will go back to Disney to see all of that. So I was just jumping out of my seat and after this, I was just back into the planning game. From now on, I will be planning anonymously instead of upfront with my mom about it, so I can really work on it in case my mom starts really thinking about a trip again and have the best possible deal. ::yes::

I will be working on trip planning for a Disneyland/SoCal trip and a WDW/Orlando trip, so if this summer we end up going to SoCal, I will absolutely be incorporating a Disney trip then and if we go back to my happy place next year, it WILL happen under my watch. So, I just wanted to announce that.

I also wanted to update on the Broadway show thing. I haven't talked to my parents on it since we are preparing for Quebec currently, but I think Lion King is the number one choice right now alongside Wicked, so I want to hear people's opinions on those and I thank you for your earlier opinions as well :)

For now, have a magical day (even though it is night)!
