eTicket app available

I downloaded both this morning. I do wish they were bundled together, but I figured I'd get both anyway to support the site. I've already built my itinerary for my DL trip in March.

Sorry if this is a stupid question and has been asked before but.....

Can I download this app for use with my iPhone in the UK? Or is it only available to the US at the moment? :confused3

Also interested in the previous Wi-Fi question!!

What does work when you're not on a WiFi connection? We have WiFi at my home, so I can definately use the app for planning, but what can I do with it in the parks?

I know the DISboards section won't be available without WiFi, and the GPS locating stuff. But what about the menus, reviews, etc. Does it save the last available show times and such so that when you check them offline, you can at least see what they were? If not, that would be a great idea! ;) Does it still show all the POI with pictures offline?

This is a complex question to answer actually. The bottom line is that eTicket requires a network connection at all times. There are some parts that work without a network including the "MY ITINERARY" feature, but in practical terms you will need WiFi on your Touch. You still will be able to view all the POI in the browse view, the map can't work without a network.

eTicket is continuously updated without the need for you to download a new app from iTunes every time something changes. WDW and DL are in a constant state of change, eTicket moves in lock step with what is actually happening in the parks and in the reviews system.

iPhone users, with their constant data connection, have a leg up over the Touch users. They need to do a Touch 3G so you guys can get online!

eTicket is available in all iTunes markets, worldwide. If you're not finding it on iTunes UK, let me know.

Now that I'm back in my nice warm, but sadly not wireless office, I tried to use the App on the iTouch and ya..basically, there's not much that works. The wireless connection needs to be active in order to access any of the fun stuff.

I downloaded both apps from UK itunes store this morning :thumbsup2

I'm really enjoying playing with all the features. I would like the itinerary to function more like a calendar, or have the items sync to my calendar.

The DVC calculator is awesome!

Super! We all share the same account and what is better is that the money in the account is Madi's, so I don't even have to pay for it. :) I'll replace it, I promise.
Shame, shame, I know your name.

Love the app - It seems like there are a bunch of Podcast listener Disers out here that bought it but only a few reviews on iTunes. Maybe not enough time to play around with it to give it a review? Don't forget to head over to iTunes and review it once you've had a chance to play around with it. We can't spread the word about how awesome the app is if we don't spread the word over on iTunes.

Having problem using me Name and and password in the app Disboards:confused3:confused3

Keep in mind that your DisBoards name and password are case sensitive. That seems to be the majority of issues with people not being able to log in.

I just downloaded the app.
I feel like a kid in a candy store!!! This app is the one for everything :)) PS. doing this post from the app!!!!

Okay... So let me make sure I understand this right... (I am rather electronic gadget impaired, so I want to make sure! lol)

So, I can still see all the POI, and click on them to read menus, see the pictures, read reviews, and such even if not connected to WiFi, it just may not be the most up to date info? Is that right? I'm not really worried about using the GPS locating stuff inside WDW, since I'm pretty familiar with the parks now, and I think I can figure out where I am once there.

I did read the one Disneyland eTicket review that said it was basically Google Earth attached to the DISboards, and I want to make sure I can do more than that if not connected to WiFi!

A couple of things -

I still can't find eticket on facebook. I've searched for it through the pages and it doesn't come up... I also look on the off chance that it was a group, but couldn't find it there either... :confused3

I sort of want to DL both apps...(WDW and DLR) But Can't quite bring myself to spend $16 on them both... (Australian prices) Any reviews? As there aren't any on the Australian Itunes...

Thanks.

The only negative review I've read on iTunes was for the Disneyland version. The reviewer said it was basically Google Earth attached to the DISboards. I haven't gotten it yet, as I'm wanting to make sure it is what I think it is. If that makes sense. lol :goodvibes
