Does anyone know if ESPN shows all the games on Sundays?

Specifically.......On Dec. 11th, DW and I want to watch the Steelers on Fox @1pm , and the Eagles on Fox @ 4pm. I am not sure if they will be televised in Florida or if ESPN will even show them.
I hope we won't have to miss these games :earboy2:

ESPN has satellite and shows them all. Ask to be seated near a TV for the steelers and arrive by noon for a guaranteed seat in the restaurant. If not you will wait awhile and probably be stuck standing at the bar. It is a fun place to watch the games - Eagles fan here!!

When my dh and I went on our honeymoon, he couldn't miss the NY Giants. Since we did everything else I wanted for the trip, I compromised! They ask you who you are interested in watching and they will try to make sure you are seated to watch that game. It really was great!

can i just say............

GO STEELERS...lol.. We're going Sept 24th to the 2nd. We'll be watchin the game on that sunday at ESPN (DH's cousin BRIAN is one of the head chefs) i'll let ya know how the seating is, and how well you can see. I'm SURE everyone in orlando are DIE HARD Steelers Fans...esp now that WARD is back..LOL :rotfl2:

Cool! DH and I will be at the ESPN club on the 25th also. GO STEELERS!!!

I'm a die-Hard Steeler fan from growing up in Pittsburgh in the 70's!

Whoo hoo! Go Steelers!

Just a suggestion.....
All-Stars Café at Disney's Wide World of Sports.
Much better place to watch Sunday NFL
There are LARGE screen TVs all round the dining room, you can easily watch 5-6 games all at once.
There is a speaker on each table where you can select the sound from the TV your watching, but it is a lot of fun to hear cheers coming from all different directions at different times.

DW & DD have already arranged their own afternoon in World Showcase on 9/25, so that I can mosey over to the ESPN club and watch the Pats game that afternoon. (I think some of you keep refering to it as a Steelers game for some reason or another... :rotfl: )

It was hard enough giving up several Sox games including my Sox-Yankees tickets for the last weekend of the season in order to come down then, but hey, one has to make sacrifices to come to Disney, right?

My question for all the ESPN regulars is, what are the realistic odds of one person getting a seat at the bar for a late game if I don't plan on coming in until 3:30 or so? I'm hoping to grab the vacated seat of someone leaving after their 1 PM game is over. Any thoughts?

ESPN is a mess on game day. People start lining up our front around 8am just to try to get a seat. No matter what time of the day you come..noon or 3pm...you are taking your chances. You may just get to sit on a barstool in the middle of the room, as that is what they were doing by the time we arrived..lol. Everyone else is kept waiting outside once they are full.

I would definately try the Sports Cafe at the wide world of sports. The food is fantastic, the tvs are wonderful...the place is totally excellent.

Cool! Can I be really picky and ask if one place or the other has more HD sets for viewing? Or is it all 100% HD by now?

And donning my flame suit, does one place or the other traditionally house more Steelers fans so that I can playfully remind them during the game that it doesn't matter how many regular season games you win or how good you think your team is on paper when you just can't get it done in the playoffs?
:rolleyes1

And I figured my question would have fallen onto deaf ears :rotfl2: How foolish of me :earboy2:

Thanks everyone for the tips. One final question....Does the Cafe at Disneys Wide World of Sports sell adult beverages?

The Patriots will fall just as Dallas did. They'll be coming to the end of their rope soon :earboy2: Go Steelers!! Go Eagles!!

Oh yes, definately..they have a great bar there..good bartenders. Hubby and I really love this place. To us, ESPN...food is horrible...our first choice would always be the sports cafe!

Nice to see all the Steelers fans on the disboards!!!!!! We'll be at the ESPN Club Oct. 23 rooting for the black and the gold. Hope to see some of you there!!

I liked your idea of watching the games at the All Star Cafe so much that I did some reasearch on it. Heres what I found.
This will be the week of the "Pop Warner Cheerleaders" and such. They have the Wide World of Sports tied down during this time dont they? Will this make for big crowds ?
I wonder if we could catch the games in the concierge lounge at the Polynesian :earboy2: I wont hold my breath :earboy2:

I'll be sitting at home watching the Steelers win. :cheer2:

At least I don't have to worry about getting a seat.

Well if we can't get to see the games we can always drown our sorrows by doing a monorail drink-a-thon
