Good evening everyone,
Geffric we owed this inspection honour as the inspector was training the head and deputy how to inspect lessons!! So the inspector was inspecting how the head and deputy inspected us!! I was supposed to get my feedback today but they were running late so I get to hear it tomorrow. The head said I had nothing to worry about though.

Cheeringmom sorry you won't be able to make the Elton gig. What is your bathroom like? We are completely redoing ours in the summer before we have our USA trip (new floor, bath, the whole works!!)

Slo I don't think I've tried soda bread before either. What is it like?

NCBelle NCBelle, I'm not up on my Irish trivia I'm afraid. I'm tempted to say Madonna and Guy Ritchie for the wedding, but I'm not sure if it was an Irish or Scottish castle they married in.

Oh well, the rest of this evening I intend to relax. I went to an excercise class after school and my legs really ache. I think a long soak in the bath might be in order soon!!

Not Madonna at that castle.

Hint--- the actor was born in 1953 in Navan, Ireland...later moved to England. He was a widow before his second marriage. The bride was born in 1963 and an actress.

Hint for the movie that used Trim Castle: It was a Mel Gibson movie in 1995.

Just quickly dropping by to say good morning to everyone. This morning I am on a course which doesn't start until 9:30. However it is in town, which with rush hour traffic will take about an hour to get to! The head has been nice to me though and booked a supply teacher for my class for the whole day so I can catch up on paperwork this afternoon.

Well I better get my hair dried and ready to go.

Have a great day everyone.

Last night we took the girls to see the Easter Bunny, and he wasn't busy at all - no wait!!!! Which was good, because we wanted to see the bunny and go:thumbsup2

Then we went to Circuit City and bought a new tv for our bedroom. The one we had in there was 20 years old (from my bedroom at home - I was 16 when I got it), and the tube was going. The picture was mostly red, and it really was terrible. Lately it started turning off whenever it wanted - it was acting up like a fiesty elderly person. I was very sad to let it go - yes I was attached to it - but it was time for it to go. The tv we got is very very nice, and it was nice to see the picture in full color. The girls are very excited, because they watch Disney Channel in our room on Friday and Saturday nights, and they were tired of seeing Hannah Montana in red:laughing:

Well, I gotta go jump into the shower
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Hi everyone.

So far we have not left town for spring break. It has been kind of fun doing things around here.

On a lark yesterday - a bunch of my moms group friends went to a spring training game... and my husband and I decided to go. It was was 13 kids - ages 11-months to 8 years and 7 parents. One the way home we stopped at IKEA to get a computer chair. So in all we were out of the house for 8 hours straight.

My oldest has a Brownie trip to the zoo this week. She is excited, even though it is not my favorite zoo in town. I LOVE the non-profit zoo that is in a city preserve/park. That zoo seems to have a mission to help difficult to place (abused) animals. I think this other zoo that they are going to is a business. It is really funny - people here really seem to have strong feelings about the zoos. They usually love one and hate the other.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone,
Whooooo!! Last day today and then we get a long weekend off!! As Easter is early this year we are having tomorrow and Monday off for Easter and then our spring break (2 weeks off) is in 2 weeks time. But I'm happy to have a long weekend!!

Bluebayou How long do your girls get for their spring break? I hope you have been having fun.

Well, better run and get ready for work. Have a good day everyone.

Today is an early day for me.
Katie and I are going to my friends office (my insurance agent in the same plaza as me) and working her office until I open at 10am. Her sister is having a baby today, and she needed me to answer her phone and take payments. Then at 10am, her answering machine will pickup the calls, but I'll put a note on the door for any clients to come to my store to make a payment. I then have to work until 7pm - it'll be a long day. But I don't mind, because she would do it for me in a heartbeat:goodvibes

Yesterday I went and got my haircut - and it felt so good!!!
This is the first time I"ve gotten my haircut since July, and it really needed it.
I went to a new stylist, and I really liked him.
He cut and cut and cut, and in the end, it doesn't look like he cut off much, but he said I have a lot of hair, and I could see how much was on the floor. Geez, I really need to go more often!!!!!!

BB - I'm glad you had such a good time Tuesday. It's sounds like lots of fun!!:cool1:
**I wish it was nice enough around here to go to the zoo - that sounds like fun!!!! But we are expecting a lot of snow around here tomorrow - not fun!!! I'm getting about 3-5 inches, but I think poor Geffric will be getting alot more than that:guilty:

Danauk - Enjoy your long weekend coming up :goodvibes

Well, I gotta go jump in the shower
Have a good day today!!!

Have a good end-of-week everyone!

Hi TAGLIARCHY. Remember me? :rolleyes1

Ian's on spring break this week but it seems we've been just as busy as usual. Monday morning we went to the grocery store but ended up having to rush through it so we could take Sophia to the doctor. She'd been fighting a cold for over a week and I wanted to make sure it wasn't more than that. Thankfully her lungs and ears were clear and we just had to go out and purchase a cool mist humidifier for her room. Ian was supposed to go to the eye doctor on Tuesday afternoon, but with the rain we got all day long many of the streets were flooded so I rescheduled it to this morning. And yesterday I took Sophia for her 10 month portraits. Can you believe it, our little princess is already 10 months old. :scared1: I'd post some of the pics but they forgot to put the CD in my bag so I have to go back and get it sometime soon.

OF has been out of sorts this week -- our big screen TV in the den died Saturday night. Okay, so he's not really that bad. And I have to say it's been so nice not having the "Idiot Box" on all the time. But tomorrow morning we're getting a new TV delivered/hooked up. Darn!!! I just couldn't convince OF that we really don't need a replacement.

Sophia finally started crawling and sitting on her own 2 weeks ago. And last week she started pulling herself up to standing on anything & everything she can. This one is drawn to all things "forbidden", too. She seems to seek out the perimeter of the room and anything she can crawl behind. That's so different from Ian, who could care less about stuff that wasn't right in the middle of the room for him to play with. We've definitely got our hands full with Sophia.

Ian is working on potty training. We've had more bad than good days lately, but Ian really wants to go to the kid's club with Mickey Mouse when we go on the cruise at the end of the summer. So we keep working on it and hopefully he'll have it mastered in the next few months.

Well, the peace and quiet has been broken. I hear Sophia so I'd better run...

Just a week, but it has been nice.

Sorry you are still dealing with snow.

It was in the low 80s here today. For some reason we had two ducks swimming in our pool.Duck picture The girls were beyond excited. After they flew away, the girls decided they wanted to go swimming. Our pool is not heated. At night the temps are still dropping a lot. So the water is in the low 50s - but they went in. My youngest only got knee deep - but my oldest swam around some and went totally underwater. I was on the phone with my mom and she was fussing at me (they are going to get sick, watch out for cramping from the cold etc). They played out in the pool area for two hours this morning. I had to drag them out to go see Horton hears a Who.

Yawn......:surfweb:

It's always so hard to get up for work, when no one else does:rolleyes:
I"m not working to much today though :)
I'm going to work until 1:00pm, and then my employee comes in until 6pm (she's doing this so I can go to church at 1:30pm). Then at 6pm I'm going back to work, and then staying until close (7pm).

cheeringmom - How did your tests go? I hope you are okay  Keep us posted!!!

ibounce - Sounds like you are having a wonderful time with your sister in town :goodvibes How was the wine bar?

RRBB - Oh, the joys of potty training :headache: This is so hard, but so rewarding in the end. If you have questions about it, please ask, we'll all help with our experiences :)
**Sophia is growing up so fast!!!! It seems like yesterday when she was born.
**Tell OF to come over here and visit - we would love to see him!!!!

BB - We used to get ducks in our pool at our old house - luckily they haven't found our current pool yet
**My girls can hardly wait to get in our pool, and so can I for that matter  But, it's going to be awhile, because it's snowing as I post this :cold:

Belle - :wave2:

Well, I should go and get ready for work
Have a good day today!!!
