Hi guys,
Just dropping by really quickly, my friends should be here for dinner in 5 minutes, but I already set the table so I have a few spare minutes!!

I hope you all have had a nice day. I decided to do a spring clean downstairs, moved all the furniture, major hoovering and mopping session etc!! My garden room has never been so clean (it has rained a lot lately here so the garden room got kind of muddy!!) I did however have all 4 bunnies together again and they all get on great so as soon as it gets warmer the babies can go out in the run. It has forcast snow though for this weekend so I don't think they will be out until after our DLP trip. Luckily we have the best neighbours who are going to feed all the animals for us.

Ooh there goes the doorbell, better go. Have a great evening everyone.

We are so ready for Easter - now if we could get rid of this snow!!!

Yesterday Kevin had some time alone, so he stuffed all the plastic eggs, so we don't have to do that tonight. He also got the potatoes rinsed and wrapped in foil, so that's also done I set the dining room table yesterday (I always try to make this look stunning) so that officially done It's to bad the kids play with their Easter baskets, or I would've taken those last night and filled them - but that would have been obvious Oh well, at least the other things are done, so that's awesome

Today I have to work, but I may skip out for awhile in the afternoon to come home and do a little housecleaning - than I don't have to do it tonight I really love that my employee can be left alone - I really am taking advantage of it

Well, I gotta go jump in the shower

We are having a quiet Easter and be doing yard work. Someone knocked off our mailbox. NC Beast has it almost repaired. We kinda know who is responsible, but the people are not going to admit it. They are regular visitors to our next door neighbors and got upset we when put up 2 no trepassing signs on our property.

I have never known it snow at Easter before!! And this is the 1st snow we have had this year!!

We had a nice Easter. NC Beast is worn out from transplanting more trees and has his first sunburn of the year. I tried to help him in the chore, but he did most of the work while I kept up on his need for some iced tea.

My parents said that this is the second Easter in a row with them having snow. They got 4 inches on saturday.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday - I had absolutly no time

The girls woke us up at 7am and they found their Easter baskets, and then did their Easter egg hunt After that, we sat on the floor and examined what was in their basket for quite some time. Then we had to get ready for church, and then go to church - which was at 11:30am. After church, we came home, and our company came over soon after. Our family/company stayed until 8pm, and then we got the house back in order, got Katie to bed, Stephanie and I watched TV, and then we went to bed. That was our day in a nutshell

I did have something sad happen this Easter - STephanie told me that a classmate told her that the Easter Bunny isn't real, and she said that she believes him - she then asked me if it was true. I told her that he was right, and that it was Kevin and I (this really killed me to admit too). I told her that now she can have a lot of fun pretending with us for Katie's sake. She looked really disappointed, but happy that I admitted to it. I know she's growing up, but her knowing about the Easter Bunny did make me sad



Wally - Those chocolate rabbits are hysterical!!!!

Danauk - Those pictures are incredible - you got a lot of snow!!!! We've had snow the last couple of days, but nothing stuck, at least not here - I'm not sure what geffric got.

Stephanie is off all this week, so it'll be nice not having to get her out the door to early.

This is a sad life moment - My sister thinks she's probable got one year left with Santa, the Bunny and her youngest. Boo.

Slo--- I'm so sorry that your cover was blown. I'm not sure that our youngest niece (age 8 tomorrow) still believes in the bunny, tooth fairy, and Santa. She has 2 older half-brothers that kept quiet on the subject for a long time.

Well has everyone recovered from all their Easter activities? I'm feeling a little strange today, usually we have our 2 week Spring break for the 2 weeks around Easter. However, as Easter was so Early this year we had a long weekend off (Friday and Monday) then we have the rest of this week, next week and then we have 2 weeks off. I've never just had the weekend off for Easter before and am really feeling tired today.
But because different education authorities set their own holiday so school are off right now. So this morning when I was doing my register next to my laptop I got an IM from a dis board buddy who also works in a school who is off for her 2 weeks off now. She said she was sat at home in her pygamas watching day time TV. I was not happy!!

Slo Sorry you had to break the news about the Easter bunny.

Wallyb and NCBelle your dogs are so lucky to be spoiled so much!! Although I do the same to my cats and bunnies!! My cats latest enjoyment is pizza. The eat the topping including the cheese, lick the tomato sauce off the base and then just leave the dough!!

Oh well I have lots of work to do this evening so I guess I had better get on (I have to plan my assembly for tomorrow, I really do not like doing whole school assembly - 150 kids listening to you!)

Thanks all for you nice thoughts about Stephanie not believing the Easter Bunny anymore. She really dwelled on it alot Sunday, and a little Monday, but by Monday night, she didn't bring it up anymore.
