Epcot'S Club Cool ~ Yay or Nay?

It has been a while since I have been in there, but it is a great place to go especially on a hot day. I recommend trying at least every drink once.

My kids don't think a trip to WDW is complete without 14 stops at Club Cool.

Get in there and drink up. Just save the Beverly flavor for last, oh so delicious haha.

Like everyone else, we go in there quite often. It's a neat place. Some of the sodas are good, some not so much.

Who remembers the old Club Cool, I think it was called Ice Station Cool? I don't remember how many years it's been now, but I'd say about 10 if I had to guess? It was like walking into an igloo and it was actually cold inside, if I recall. I like the new Club Cool, but the old one seemed like a bit more of an attraction than the current one (which is more of a store).

Funny story about Beverly (at least for us) - my brother and I were playing it up to his friend about how good Beverly was (with our cameras ready) and this gentleman overheard us talking about it. As my brother's friend was just getting the full effect of Beverly, the other guy was beginning to try it too as he took our recommendation as gospel. The look on his face was great! We all laughed about it as he said that we got a "twofer." Pretty funny!

I miss the super cold, snowy walk way in, but I'm sure this is easier to maintain. We always stop in for a quick refresher.

One of our traditions is to stop at Club Cool before we head to the World Showcase. Besides the free samples, a frozen Coke really hits the spot on a hot day.

Apparently they have one in Atlanta and my cousin went there while in Atlanta for business last week. She said it was totally worth her time and she said the Beverly was horrifically disgusting-like getting the nasty jelly belly while playing bean-boozled.

It's actually World of Coke in Atlanta which is essentially a museum with a tasting room at the end.

I wouldn't go too far out of my way but it's definitely worth a visit if you are passing by.

As for the Beverly, it's not so great by itself but I'd like to try it with gin.

If you have never been, it is worth a visit. Having been a number of times, we often skip it.

Personally, I'd love to see them update the (variety of) beverages offered.

I think Coke is greatly missing an opportunity to see how American tastes have evolved. I don't think they have changed the samples offered since the 1980's! It would be great so see a few new beverages offered.

Locally, the new Coke machines that offer 1,000 different options are easy enough to find.

I'm laughing at all the sticky floor comments. That was my first thought too - a cool break with a sticky floor. But worth a stop :)

VegitaBeta forever!

I haven't taken the kids here yet. They aren't soda drinkers but I guarantee they will like this place on our next trip.

If you have never done it, absolutely. My kids loved it, and we hit it every trip until my youngest aged past it (about age 13). We only swing through now to see if there is something new.

We don't care for the taste of any of the free soda available, so one time sampling the sodas was enough for my wife and I. Anytime we go with folks with whom we have not traveled before, we swing by to see what they think.
