Hi! I've been searching for awhile about this and I've found no helpful information.

We are visiting WDW in July and meeting Anna and Elsa is a top priority for our daughter. Since they are moving back to Epcot (this Spring?), we made an early 8am ADR for Akershus in hopes that it would let us meet them or get in line to see them before the park opens at 9. BUT I've just realized that World Showcase doesn't open until 11..

IF Anna and Elsa are in Epcot in July, will they be available when the park opens or when World Showcase opens?

Do they allow people to enter world showcase before it opens? Will everyone start lining up at rope drop?

If people aren't allowed in World Showcase before it opens at 11, what will they do with us after our 8am breakfast in Norway?

Should I change our reservations to 10:30?

I really hope someone can answer these! Thanks in advance!

IrishNYC is right - lots of talk on these boards and cast members who post here, but this info isn't out there yet.

Only thing I CAN tell you is Akershus has had early ADRs for ages now and you can get in the park early for those. When you're finished, you can be in world showcase, but nothing is open and running yet. We've done those and gone back to future world for rides. No one knows yet how the frozen stuff will change everything.

Ah, great info, thanks! In the future, how can I avoid asking questions that have already been discussed? I've tried searching by keywords, but that doesn't always show me what I'm looking for... I'm new :)

Ex-epcot CM. When Anna and Elsa were in Norway originally their first set was at 11. People came at rope drop and even after prepark meals to sit and wait. With the ride you were allowed to stand close but there was no prequeue most days. I hope with the Frozen ride if it isn't going to open at 9 that the queue is at least open so people can have somewhere to wait until 11.

Don't be shocked if the 9-11 hours end up being an extra ticket event. I can see it now Frozen Mornings where you get to meet the girls, ride the ride, and eat at the Norway bakery! How fun! What a Steal! (Please note my sarcasam as how fun and a steal).

Lol! I'm not so great at selecting the magic search terms myself. You didn't do anything wrong by asking! I was just trying out let you know it's been the subject of general discussion a lot, so the lack of info isn't from lack of interest!

When something gets revealed, I'm sure it will be Front Page of DIS news, but "frozen" "Norway" "Anna & Elsa" or "A&E" and even "FroWay" are all key phrases you'll see.

Edit: oh, and :welcome: to the DISboards!

We really need a sarcasm font around here!

Won't think any less. We buy some of the premium offering based on what we want out of the trip. The weekend was suppose to be a Star Wars bash (screw nasty colds btw) so we bought anything special that was SW and even did Frozen Summer fun when it was first offered.

I know they started out as an 11 AM open when A/E were there before, but didn't they switch to a 9 AM opening somewhere along the line?

I'm pretty cynical about all of Disney's money grabs lately, but I'd be shocked to see them charge extra for the 9-11 timeframe. I won't be shocked to see them try something before or after regular park open though, similar to the events they are doing in the MK starting tonight. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the MK events were a test for this.

Shocked because it's embedded within Epcot's existing hours, even though it is technically "pre-open" for World Showcase? Sadly, I've downgraded all my "I'd be shocked if. . . " comments to "I don't think so, but I'll be less shocked today than I would have been a month ago. . . "

I would buy it too, if it means I not using up FP+ that I could use for Test Track Or Soarin'! Plus I have a Frozen obsessed princess!

I am almost embarrassed to admit that I would probably pay for this if it meant I could get that M&G out of the way, as well as the attraction. I am bring two A&E fans, and we missed the A&E M&G we had in August. I have FP for them, but it was late, and it was raining. We are not troopers, so by then I had had enough! The kids forgot, but I did not, so I woudl not mind, depending on the price, dragging their sleepy selves out early and getting the whole thing done.

LOL! Not only that, I would have my DH pay for it!!! And he would! Every trip he does something special for all the girls (The adult girls have been getting treated to massages!!!!) so if I told him we could get the girls in to meet A&E and the Frozen ride without too many people and no really long lines, he would totally give it to them! ANd boy, would the rest of the adults on the trip be happy! Best investment ever they would say.....take them, leave us behind and. We will meet you for lunch!

I will admit I agree with you. You never know what is sale able today.
