This is probably old news to a lot of DISers, but we were really impressed on our last trip with the boat loop between Epcot's International Gateway (in the "back" of the park near France) and Hollywood Studios (to the right of the gate as you enter the park), with stops at Beach Club/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, and Swan & Dolphin. The boats were frequent, every 20 minutes or so it seemed, and not at all crowded in May. The trip from one park to the other takes 25 minutes including the stops.
We found it very a convenient way to park hop while taking in some pleasant scenery. You could also walk that route in cooler weather. I would guess it's not more than a mile and a half of landscaped paths that are not adjacent to roads so it's quiet and peaceful.
It was our first time staying at an Epcot area resort and now we see why so many people like that area.
