Epcot Segway tour??

Three of the four in our group want to do the Segway Tour...I assume as long as the park is open that the fourth could just be a spectator/photographer (with park admission, of course) and tag along while the others toured on their vehicles? Anybody done that? thanks!

Someone asked once before and posted that they were told no. WS isn't open when you go thru it, so people who are not tour participants would not be able to be there.
I agree with the others that if "watchers" were allowed, it would probably be a safety hazard (distracting to the drivers) and would not be much fun for the "runner."

While following the party around the World Showcase isn't possible it would work to post the non-rider on the bridge that connects the WS with the Future World part of Epcot. The tour goes through this area coming and going so they'd be able to take your pic as you rode by.

Just a thought.

I don't think anyone posted a link to the DIS site page about Segway Tours yet , so I'll do it. This is a page about all the various WDW tours. The Segway Tours are the last in the table. There is a link to more information and a link to a review which has pictures of the practice room and of a pretty loney looking Segway standing by itself in China.
