Hello All,

We are returning to the world 8/23-9/01 and would like to expand our sons (13 &11) eating experience. Ok, actually mom & dad would like to pick at least 1 meal in the 10 day period. :teeth: We thought about trying Teppanyaki or Tempura-Kiku in Japan or possible the restaurant in China, I can't recall the name. Has anyone eaten there? How was the food? If you have kids, what did they think? Any other recommendations outside of italian or burgers?

Thanks

Personally don't like Nine Dragons, their counter service Lotus Blossom is ok.....
Teppanyaki is a fun atmosphere and you kids may enjoy that...also, Rose and Crown...

Biergarten!!!! It's a blast! If you go, just make sure you go when the Oompah band is there. The food is great, too!

DS,14 is the fussiest eater I know. He would be very upset with me if I didn't tell you how much he loved both Nine Dragons and Askerhus (Norway). They were his favorite meals ever, not just at Disney.

we always enjoy germany - the food is good and the oompah band is fun---the restaurant can get busy and you are really "on your own" there but we try to go every other trip - reasonable and good and great to walk out for the fireworks later
canada is good - i hear complaints about the service but we have always gotten a good meal and had fun
japan - teppanyaki (sp) is fun and the food is very good - some people say you can go to your local benihana and get the same thing but we really like going at epcot
france is good - the chefs de france -
norway is also good but "different" food - some in our family don't care for it as much but i personally liked it
morroco is good for the experience - my husband actually enjoyed the tangerine cafe for lunch more than the dinner but the belly dancer is good and the tile work in the restaurant is beautiful

never been to china, mexico or italy because we live in atlanta and have lots of those types of restaurants to choose from

also you could try raglan road at pleasure island - good food and the music/dancer is a really fun evening - ask to sit in the main dining room when you make your reservations...burgers are particularly good

hope you have a great trip!

Biergarten-Germany
LeCellier-Canada
and as far as CS goes we enjoyed Mexico and the tangerine cafe in morocco
