Epcot Pick-a-Pearl Repairs?

I had a ring made with my pearl at Epcot a few years ago (2007). Last week, I noticed that the pearl was moving a little in the setting (I could turn it a bit). I tried pulling on it to see if it would come off and it didn't, but I'm still nervous about wearing it for fear of losing the pearl. Does anyone know if they will repair jewelry that they have set? The problem is I have no proof that it was set there, as this was three years ago. Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks!

I would suspect you can show it to them and they will fix it at the pick a pearl counter, Disney is good about this.

If you are not making a trip soon, any jeweler can tighten up those settings for you.

You'll be there in a couple of weeks and, if I were you, I'd just give it a shot. The worst that can happen is they say no. If I were to guess though, I'd bet they'd just assume good faith and tighten it up a bit for you.

The pick a pearl at Japan was not as friendly to me when I asked for help with fixing a setting last August. They are usually very busy and I don't think that they could be bothered. However, the one at Downtown Disney was very friendly and fixed our setting for free. They didn't care whether I bought the setting there or not.

As another poster mentioned, you can have any jeweler tighten it for you. One of the larger diamonds in the ring my mother left me (ring is like 45 years old) started to "turn & spin" when you touched it. I took it to the local jeweler and he tightened it for free.. and the ring didn't come from there, never mind there, didn't come from anywhere in this State ;)

I would just take it to a local jeweler. It's most likely just a quick pinch with some jeweler's pliers.

I wouldn't risk any thing happening to it trying to get it to WDW.
