Hi,
My Adult DD and I will be spending NYE in Epcot for the 1st time
I just have to ask if there are places to duck into to get away from the crowds?I know they open up the lawns and We do have ADRs... lunch @ Chef's and dinner @ 9 Dragons but the crowds are a little intimidating to me. Only 5 feet tall... to be honest i'm a little worried

i guess we could always head over to HS if it gets too bad
Thanks for your help and guidance![]()
I've not heard of them opening any lawns and in fact there really isn't any place you can find a lawn to spread out on. People have their blankets spread out around the lagoon holding their places, but they are not allowed on the grass area. As the night wears on you will find less and less places that aren't crowded but having dinner at 9 dragons will be nice a breather for you.
I am also just over 5 feet and I get a bit anxious in big crowds that don't move, but that's why we spend just a few hours in the evening, I can't really take much more than that. There is the America Pavilion which has quite a bit of seating, but they play very loud salsa type dance music so not really relaxing. You might find some places in the back of some of the countries that have a quieter area to sit and rest away from the crowds.
