Epcot Dining - Pontoon Illuminations

Just wondering I am planning to book into a restaurant at Epcot, Cellier Steak house/ Bistro De Paris, and this is in the Epcot World correct - please forgive me never been to Disneyworld before. Now I want to also know that same eveing I am trying to get a pontoon to watch the Illuminations at Epcot. Are the pontoons in the same vacinity or not and if not how far away to get to them eg 10 min walk. As i have read the pontoon boats only go from certain places. Or better off just relaxing at dinner and then walking down to see the Illuminations light show, if so where would you go to get the best vantage point. I have heard good reports on the Cellier Steak House what about the Bistro De Paris, recently?

You get the boat for the Illuminations cruise at the Beach/Yacht club dock. That is about a 10 minute walk (not even) from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot - this is the World Showcase side.

The restaurants you've mentioned are in the World Showcase. Either restaurant is about the same distance from the International Gateway entrance - probably a 5 minute walk.

In total, it would be 15 minutes or so to walk from the restaurant to the dock.
