We leave in less than two weeks. I thought I was ready. Now I am having concerns about the Electric Umbrella. I need a counter serive meal for lunch on a Sunday at Epcot. We will be touring future world that morning, but would be willing to go to world showcase.

Any suggestions? We are having dinner at Mexico's Cantina Del San Angel.

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. We're on the meal plan. Oh we are traveling with three kids (DD7, DD4, DS2).

Thanks,
Allie

I'm looking forward to trying the new counter service at The Land. For World Showcase, I really like Tangierine Cafe in Morroco...

We really enjoy the China counter serve place. Part of the pleasure of vacation is trying new things and their foods are unusual without being weird.

The Mango slush, won ton ribbons, egg rolls and the red bean ice cream keep us coming back for more. It is tucked away into a corner, great views of the marketplace and the buildings and sometimes you can catch a glimpse of the acrobats if the crowds are not too big. Prices are good as well.

Slightly Goofy

In Future World I would suggest trying the new area in the Land. Don't know much about it since it just reopened, but many people on the DIS have already been there and could probably tell you. In World Showcase, I would suggest the American Pavillion counter service. They have the basic counter service menu...and really really good apple pie. :goodvibes

How about Sommerfest in Germany or the bakery in France. Also maybe Yorksire County Fish and Chips!

I dont know why but if we are in Epcot's FW around lunch, we always eat at Electric Umbrella. It is never better than average fast food but its become a silly tradition for us. We wont eat dinner there but thats usually b/c we if we are in Epcot at dinnertime, we probably have a ps in WS.
Try the land-I have heard some good reviews.

I ate at the Electric Umbrella a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't anything special, but it was decent. I just had a cheeseburger and loaded it up with veggies from the topping bar (no cheese sauce or mushrooms though). The lines to order were very long. I waited about 40 minutes to order and this was around 1:30pm. The Sunshine Seasons at The Land sounds interesting though!

we ate at the electric umbrella and the cantina at mexico last year. both were good.

We had lunch at The Electric Umbrella twice last week. Both days were busy with school trip kids but the lines went very quickly. There were a decent selection of salad/sandwiches along with the standard burger/chix strip offerings. We found that the portions sizes were good leaving us satisfied from lunch but not so full we weren't ready for our dinner reservations.
