Hi - I was reading someones trip report and really fancy trying the sink dessert at Beaches and Cream. (At least I thin k that was where it was from!)

I've only ever been to Epcot through the main entrance - am I right in thinking there is another entrance in world showcase? If so, is it possible to spend the day at Epcot and 'pop' over to Beaches and Cream to have a dessert in the afternoon and then go back to Epcot!!

Is it an easy walk or would I need to go back to get the car??:confused3 :thumbsup2

The side entrance to the world showcase (International gateway) is between France and the UK. Beaches & Cream is about a 5 minute walk from there I think. Pretty easy to pop out for lunch!

Thanks everyone! (especially Kaylee - brilliant map!!:thumbsup2 )

Now just need to persuade DH that he DOES want to eat the kitchen sink!!!;)

They don't take ADRs (reservations) at Beaches and Cream, you need to give your name to the CM on the entrance podium and they will add you to the waiting list (if there is one) it's not the largest eatery in WDW :)

The Kitchen Sink dessert is massive - good luck if you are going to attempt it :goodvibes

KayleeUK ............loooooove your signature pic :thumbsup2

You are very brave taking on the kitchen sink

I can barely eat one of the normal sundae's!

you might have too have a lie down after eatting it

We are going in August after numerous times of trying, never made it. I will take lots of pics. I am sure 3 of us will be able to eat The sink (well the contents)
Do you think Mission space will be good to go on after eating all that?:lmao: :rotfl2:

DS 15 is convinced that he can eat this dessert all on his own (I would not tell him, but I bet he could as well, he could eat for england, must be all the swimming) Thought we would stroll down and see if he can, anyone know the best time of day to go (what I mean is when its least busy!!!). Thanks

does anyone have a picture of it that I can show to DH?

The Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream is NOT for the shy and retiring as the staff certainly let eveyone know that you are having one. ;)

Just watched the youtube video - some size of dessert :rotfl:

We actually tried to get in to Beaches & Cream that very same day - wait time was too long as we had to get to the airport.

DH now reckons that we are going to try it on our next visit :lmao:

that made me feel full just watching it! I like the icecream but all that awful fake cream is horrible, now if it was clotted cream - yum!

We were planning on 3 of us sharing next month but after seeing the clip I think we should invite a couple of friends to hep out.:goodvibes
