Hi! Is the African Outpost stall/kiosk still active in World Showcase that sells the beads made from recycled WDW papers? If so, anyone know what the current/recent options are (i.e. bracelets, necklaces, etc.)? Thanks!

We were there in November and didn’t see them.
I look every trip

That's great to hear! We're planning on taking Mom to EPCOT for her birthday later this year, and those beads are something she's been hoping to get for a LONG time now. I hope they're available.
So, do you get to see them being made? I didn't realize you could do anything past purchasing them.

She was making them when we saw her. She sits at a small table and the finished ones are out to purchase.

Thank you! So excited to see this post. These were always a favorite souvenir but were not there on my last few trips. Did you happen to notice what they had for sale - earrings, necklaces, bracelets?

I looked at her making them but I did not look close enough to say for sure what all she was making.

Has anyone seen the bead activity running recently? I remember it being such a fun little surprise while walking through the Outpost.

Wondering if it's seasonal or just hit or miss depending on staffing. Would love to hear if anyone's spotted it lately or had luck asking a Cast Member about it.

I asked a cast member there last trip and they said the beaded items are made by artisans in Africa. Prices vary by size and design, but they’re definitely colorful and unique.
