entertainment card discount

I'm interested in detailed information about the "entertainment card" discount. What is an entertainment card? Do you need to have a card when calling in order to receive the discount? Do they ask for a card number? How do I go about getting an entertainment card if I need one. What to they cost.

Entertainment cards can be received thru Happenings books. The cost of the book is usually $25. You do not need the card when making the reservation but you WILL need to show it upon check-in. The card usually gives 50% off of rooms. We booked the Hard Rock Deluxe Room for $149 and this is normally over a $300 room.
