Entertainment Book Bonus! - UPDATE

Ok, I have to preface this by saying that I don't know how credible this is as I have just completed it. I always get pop ups about getting 'free' $50 gift cards for places. I knew this was not possible, but was curious enough to see what the catch would be. So I looked through the options, and purchasing an entertainment book was one of them. It was the discounted amount offered on other websites, $10, and by purchasing it I now will also get a $50 gift card for the vendor I chose. You can choose from many restaurants like Red Lobster, Applebees, etc..., Circuit City, Music Stores...I chose Macy's (could get a new outfit for my trip top WDW ) I figured I had nothing to lose because I was going to purchase the Orlando entertainment book anyway, and I carefully read all the details and there is no other purchase required. Basically, I paid $15 to save 50% off a room at the Swan (a possible $80 value) and I get a $50 gift card for Macy's, not to mention all the other savings in the book. My DBF is very skeptical, but I figured, even if I don't end up getting the Macy's card, I will still get my entertainment book. They send you right to the entertianment book site to order it so I know it's legit & their site is where you put in your CC #. Just thought I would share. When you get to the main page at www.yourgiftcards.com pick which vendor you want your gift card from and then put in your email address. It will then take you to the offers page. The entertainment book offer is the 4th one down the list. Here is the order I see...

We were planning an entertainment book purchase for our Orlando trip (seems crazy to buy an entertaiment book for two weeks) through the e-mail that the company sent us when we bought the Oregon book (where we live). Anyway, the offer they gave us was $10.00 for any additional booK and $5.00 shipping, so for the same price, we tried your $50.00 coupon thing, too. I figured that is what would happen, so guess what I did? I created an email address solely for junk mail. That way any time I enter a contest or anything it all gets sent to that address. I only check it once in a while, and I just empty all the contents. Some things from this company I had to verify to get the gift card, but they were easy to find amidst the junk If that's the worst thing that happens from it I can deal with that

Anyone get their free gift card yet. I kept checking my confirmation and it wasn't working. I finally emailed their customer service and they said that any email agency that has spam blockers will cause a problem with their automatic system. I have yahoo and I guess it blocked them so a VERY nice customer service rep had me email her my entertainment book confirmation and then she processed my card and said I should be getting it in 6-8 weeks. A little longer than I thought I would have to wait, but hey, $50 is $50! I'll keep you posted. What about you, WldWcnWmn, did you get yours?? Also, I did NOT get a large amount of spam emails as a result either. Did you?

just checked on yourgift cards to see what the status of our card was....

it says it is "approved", thus we only have one more hoop to jump through in order to get our "gift card"

waiting now for the approval email so i can fill it out and send it in...

If you notice that it's been a week or two and your status still says approved and you haven't received an email. Write to them. They told me that their email service is blocked a lot by AOL, yahoo, etc.. because it looks like junk mail and then they have no way of knowing that you never received your confirmation email. There is a 'contact us' link on the page where you check your status. If you think it has said approved for a while, definitely contact them Enjoy your card. I really thought this might be a hoax, and I'm glad my gamble paid off

I went thru your link and the offer says you have to complete 3 of the offers. Is that what you did? I would have to use the Entertainment book offer and 2 others to get the $50 card.

No, I only had to complete one offer which was ordering the Entertainment Book.

I signed up when somebody here first mentioned it and had no spam either. The link became approved a couple of weeks ago so yet to get the card - I have an address in the US I use so am looking forward to the $50 Macy's voucher!

I bought the entertainment book, but have yet to see and gift card come my way. I will go back and see how many "offers" of theirs I actually have to accept, I thought it was just the one, but I could be wrong... Got the entertainemnt book, though...no problem and it was just as good as an offer Entertainment made to me directly...so not too about the situation. I'll let you guys know if I ever get the $$$$$.

go to this page and check on your account status. If you think it's been a long time and it doesn't say approved or confirmed yet then email them. I did, and that's how they found out that I had never received my confirmation email.

Hey Everybody!!!! It's back to one offer. As I type this I'm processing my entertainment book. Anyone know how much the 2005 book is. For those of you who registered with Your gift cards...how did you get e mail. I have hotmail and have checked my junk mail folder but it doesn't seem like anything is cominf through. I tried to contact them but the only way I see is to e mail. Problem is they can't answer me if e mail doesn't go through.

Today I got an email with a link that showed I just had to accept 1 offer to get the $50 card. But, I am still having trouble ordering the Entertainment book through their link. I'll keep trying. All I had done yesterday was put in my email address to see the offer descriptions. That took me to the page that said I had to accept 3 offers. I did go ahead and put in my email address and a password today. Their site must have kept my email address from yesterday, even though I did not finish a transaction.
