Entertainment Book Bonus! - UPDATE

I'm not sure if this is the same $50 gift offer I signed up for, but I got a *ton* of spam, some of which seemed to have viruses. I was sorry I signed up!
 
Well I also got the $50 cheque. No spam, ent book at discounted rate and $50 - well I am happy!!

I signed up for the 2005 Ent book and a DVD club. I received both (book and DVDs) today in the mail. (Requested $50 each from Lowe's amd Bed, Bath, Beyond)
How long did it take to receive the gift cards/checks from when you received the item(s) you bought?

WendyM: No spam for me either. Ent book for $10.50 ( I've already saved at least 3 times that from the coupons) and a $50 check- I'm happy too :teeth:

Luv2Roam: There was a problem with my email because Yahoo blocked them. So mine took about 4.5 months. If you keep checking your status, and it has been about a month and it still doesn't say confirmed (I think, it's whichever word means that you ordered from a sponsor) then try to email them through the 'contact us' link on the website. Just keep at it and don't forget about it. It's worth checking your status and emailing once in a while to get your $50 IMO :) Let me know if you have any more questions.

1. On the menu Select "Tools" and then "Internet Options". This will open up the Internet Options dialog.

2. Click the "Delete Cookies..." button in the middle of the dialog box. Another window will open up asking you for confirmation.

3. Click "Ok" and wait for it to finish.

4. Click the "Ok" button on the "Internet Options" window to close it

5. That's it, all of your cookies have been deleted.

NOTE: While you are in here you can also clear out your Temporary Internet Files cache to free up some space by clicking the "Delete Files..." button.

thanks very much !!, i readily admit to being technically challenged...
i have done the above before but didn't know they were cookies:crazy:

however, when i viewed the folder after i deleted the temp. files, on the internet options temp file "settings " page there were still tons of them there...should i select all and delete these from the edit tab or will that mess something up...thanks for your help ( I have windows ME,behind the times i know)
 
I finally received a response from customer service after five e-mails. They said I should receive the card in 1-2 weeks. I hope so. Could definitely use it for the Halloween trip. :)

I cannot even sign in to the link to check on my gc status. It says my email addy isn't in their system. I ordered quite a while ago and have gotten the 2004 book and the 2005 is on the way. I do have a hotmail addy but I always check my junk box.
 
I can't seem to log in either, it says my addy is not in the system..anyone know what to do with this..My GC should be here this week or next according to the schedule they gave us, has anyone gotten theirs yet..I ordered the $50 Visa GC, I got my 2004 Entertainment Book right away, and they billed my CC....Any update on this would be great!!!
 
I was NEVER able to communicate to themn via e-mail. I broke down and called them and they said the $50.00 gift certificate should be here mid-September. I'll let you guys know if I get it or not.
 
I didn't really feel like waiting for my 6-8 week period to be up to change from "In Progress" status, so I emailed last week and got an answer today. I got a link which didn't work and when I cut and pasted the address it didn't work either. So I checked it out carefully and found that when I pasted a portion of it did not paste(?odd). So I added that part and I got connected to a certificate that I could print out and mail in for my GC. Of course I will have to wait for 6-8 weeks for it to arrive.:rolleyes:
But at least I got somewhere. BTW I ordered my Ent book on the 12th of August and recieved it around the 21st.
I do think they really feel that people will give up and just let it go! My status still had not changed either.
 
Can you send me the web address to the fulfillment certificate. I have already ordered and received my 2005 ent book but my status still shows In Progress. I have emailed them but no response. Thanks

But I don't know if the link will work as it has my Email address and some #'s in it. It's worth a try though. LMK if it does work.
 
I found that the best way to get a response when emailing them is to go through the 'contact us' link on their page and it will give you a choice for what category your question is regarding. If your question doesn't fit the category you choose they won't respond, but if it does, I have found that they respond immediately and are very helpful. I also was emailed a link to a confirmation page which I printed and mailed in and received my GC about 2-3 weeks later. (It was actually just a $50 check because they had a run on the GCs and ran out- even better :) )
 
If you call them they will give you a link to your certificate. I can call free long distance on my cell. Use a cell if you have that feature. I mailed in my certificate but am still waiting for my GC. They were really helpful.
 
I called Yourgiftcards.com today to ask why I wasn't "approved" yet, but still rated "In progess" ~ since I received my Entertainment Book last week.

She said you have to wait 45 days from the day you order. If the status doesn't change to "approved", then you can call them and they'll email you a link, like the one Tinkerbell 13 got.

I haven't quite reached the 45 day mark, so I guess I'll wait a little longer.
